Yabancı dilde kullanılan bilgisayar destekli eğitimin öğrenci başarısı üzerine etkilerinin araştırılması

Abstract

ÖZET Anahtar Kelimeler : Bilgisayar, Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitim, Eğitim Teknolojisi, Bilgisayar Destekli Dil Eğitimi Bu araştırmada yabancı dil öğretiminde Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitimin öğrenci başarısı üzerine etkililiği incelenecektir. Bu nedenle öntest- sontest gruplu model uygulanmış ve araştırma sınıf ve laboratuar ortamında uygulama yaparak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Sakarya ili Adapazarı ilçesi Özel Enka İlköğretim Okulu 7/A ve 7/B öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Araştırma deney grubunda 13, kontrol grubunda 13 olmak üzere toplam 26 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma sonunda ders başarısı açısından Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretim gören deney grubunun; geleneksel eğitim gören kontrol grubuna göre daha başanlı olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu noktadan hareketle, yabancı dil eğitiminde Bilgisayar Destekli Öğretimin uygulanması önerilmektedir. vı

SUMMARY A RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF COMPUTER ASSISTED LANGUAGE LEARNING ON THE STUDENT SUCCESS. The aim of this research is to observe the effect of computer assisted language learning on student's success; for this reason, a pre-test and post-test were applied to model groups and the research was done in a classroom and a laboratory. The sample was taken from the seventh grade students in the Private Enka Primary School in Sakarya, Adapazarı. There were 13 students in the Experimental Group, and 13 students in the Control Group, and there were totaly 26 students in the research. As a result of the research it was found out that the experiment group having computer assisted language learning is considerably more successful than the control group taught using the traditional methods in terms of academic success. Therefore, it is suggested that computer assisted language learning should be applied in language learning. Vll
