Diyarbakır ili ve çevresinde Ermeni olayları ( 1908-1923)

Abstract

ÖZET ANAHTAR KELİMELER : Ermeni Sorunu, Ermeni, Diyarbakır, 1895 Olayları Ermeni sorunu yalnızca Türkiye ve Ermenistan' m meselesi olmaktan çok nerdeyse bütün dünya ülkelerinin gündemini meşgul eden bir mesele haline gelmiştir. Bu meselenin çözümsüzlükten kurtarılarak gerçeklerin ortaya çıkarılması ve meselenin aydınlığa kavuşturulması yeni araştırılmaları zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu çerçevede olayın bütününün anlaşılabilmesi için bölgesel çalışmaların önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu alandaki çalışmaların eksikliği bizi bu araştırmaya sevk etmiştir. `Diyarbakır İli ve Çevresinde Ermeni Olayları (1908 - 1923)` adlı bu çalışma, bu şehirde gerçekleşen Ermeni isyanları ve komitecilik faaliyetlerinin, Ermeni Sorunu içindeki yerini konu almaktadır. Çalışma, tarihi süreç içindeki Ermeni toplumunu ve Ermeni Sorununu inceleyerek başlamaktadır. İlk çağlardan bu yana Diyarbakır'ın kısa tarihine yer verilerek, şehrin demografik yapısı ve soysal yaşam içinde Ermenilerin durumu ortaya konulmuştur. Ermenilerin terör ve komitecilik faaliyetleri içinde önemli bir yere sahip olan 1895 Diyarbakır Ermeni Olayları, tehcir öncesi ve sonrasına yaşanan olaylar, bu konuların devlet yazışmalarına yansıması, arşiv belgeleri, yerli-yabancı yazarlara ait kitaplar ve makaleler ışığında irdelenmektedir.

SUMMARY Armenian Events in the Province of Diyarbakır and its Vicinity (1908-1923) KEYWORDS: Armenian Question, Armenian, Diyarbakir, 1 895 Events Armenian Question is not the only problem of Turkey and Armenia, it became almost a matter of fact which preoccupies the agenda of all of the World states. The exposition of the facts by means of rescuing the question from the unsolvableness and enlightenment of the question make indespensable the new researches. In this frame, the importance of the local studies for the better understanding of the whole of Question comes into existence. The lack of studies in this area drives us to this research. The study entitled `Armenian Events in the Province of Diyarbakir and its Vicinity (1908-1923)` includes the Armenian revolts and activities of commities occured in the city and its place in the context of the Armenian Question. The study begins with analysis of the Armenian society in the process of history and Armenian Question. Giving a place for the history of Diyarbakir from antiquety, the condition of Armenians is illustrated within the demographic structure of the city and social life. Diyarbakir Armenian Events of 1895 which are very important within the Armenian terror and the activities of commities, the events occured before and after the relocation, the reflection of these subjects to official documents are scrutinized in the light of archival documents, and also books and articles belonging to the native and foreign scholars. vi
