dc.description.abstract | The renewed primary mathematics curriculum aims at providing students' problem-solving, reasoning, relating skills, mathematics to use in their daily lives. The program was prepared on idea that ?every child could learn mathematics? as a conceptual approach. The new math program and the approach to this policy is that the student and the student's interests, desires and needs of the student mentally and physically active by taking the center are aimed at creating an educational environment. The program that is prepared with activities is in our country despite the lack of further study of what is known to have much importance.Moreover, the questionnaire was applied 78 mathematics teachers of primary schools including 24 teachers in order to take teachers? ideas with mathematics program in primary schools. The data was obtained by using data collection methods in qualitative research (interview, mathematics knowledge test, program evaluation form).As the research hypotheses for testing, the percent-frequency and content analysis were used by motif and interpretation. The results taken from the work are that the first stage activities are more successful than that of second. In addition, it is understood that the teachers avoid applying the new mathematics program, but they think positively about the content of program. | en_US |
