Ortaokullardaki sosyal kulüp çalışmalarının etkililiğine yönelik yönetici,öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, ortaokullardaki sosyal kulüp çalışmalarının etkililiğine yönelik yöneticilerin, öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin görüşlerini kuramsal ve deneysel bir biçimde incelemektir.Bu araştırma, tarama modeliyle yapılmıştır. Araştırma konusu ile ilgili literatür incelenip kuramsal bir temel oluşturulmuştur. Ortaokullardaki öğretmen ve öğrencilere uygulanmak üzere anket formu geliştirilmiştir. Yöneticilerin sosyal kulüplerle ilgili görüşlerini almak içinde görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Erzurum Palandöken ilçesi ortaokullarındaki yönetici, öğretmen ve öğrenciler; örneklemini ise farklı sosyo-ekonomik düzeye sahip 4 ortaokulda görev yapan 4 yönetici, 72 öğretmen ve 389 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır.SPSS 20 paket programı kullanılarak veriler analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; öğretmenlerin sosyal kulüp çalışmalarının etkililiğine yönelik görüşleri incelenen yaş, cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, fakülte türü, sosyal kulüp çalıştırma yılı, farklı sosyal kulüp çalıştırma sayısı ve okuldaki görev yılı değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmamıştır. Öğrencilerin sosyal kulüp çalışmalarının etkililiğine yönelik görüşleri incelenen cinsiyet, babanın eğitim durumu, annenin eğitim durumu ve farklı sosyal kulüpte bulunma sayısı değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmamıştır. ve son olarak yöneticilerin sosyal kulüp çalışmalarının etkililiğine yönelik görüşleri incelenen cinsiyet, yaş, mesleki kıdem, yöneticilik yaptığı yıl değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmamıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Sosyal kulüp, ders dışı etkinlikler, boş zaman

The overall objective of this study is to investigate opinions of administrators, teachers and students regarding the effectiveness of social club activities in secondary schools in a theoretical and experimental manner.This research was designed with screening model. The literature on research topic was reviewed and a theoretical basis was established. A questionnaire was developed to be applied to teachers and students in secondary schools. The interview method was used in order to get the opinions of the administrators about the social clubs. The study population consisted of the administrators, teachers and students in the secondary schools in the Palandöken district of the province of Erzurum, Turkey; and, the sample consisted of 389 eighth graders, 4 administrators and 72 teachers working 4 secondary schools with different socioeconomic levels.Data were analyzed using the SPSS 20 software. According to the results obtained, there were no statistically significant differences in teachers' opinions on effectiveness of social club activities in terms of the variables of age, gender, occupational seniority, type of faculty, year of social clubbing, number of different social clubs, and duty years in the school. There were also no statistically significant differences in students' opinions regarding the effectiveness of social club activities, in terms of the analyzed variables of gender, parental education level, maternal education level, and number of different social clubs attended. And finally, there were no statistically significant differences in the opinions of administrators regarding the effectiveness of social club activities in terms of the variables of gender, age, occupational seniority and managerial years examined.Key Words: Social club, extracurricular activities, leisure time
