Şer`iyye sicillerine göre xvııı. yüzyılın ilk yarısında Kastamonu kazâsı (1725-1750)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Kastamonu Kazâsı'nın XVIII. yüzyılın ilk yarısındaki sosyo-kültürel, idarî, fizikî, ekonomik ve demografik yapısı ele alınmıştır. Kaynak olarak mahkeme kayıtlarını içeren şer'iyye sicillerinden istifade edilmiştir. Bu arşiv vesikaları sayesinde kazanın sosyo-kültürel, ekonomik, idarî ve mimarî yapısı tespit edilmiştir. Kastamonu özelinde yapılan bu çalışmada birinci el kaynak olarak bilinen şer'iyye sicillerinin yanısıra ihtiyaç duyuldukça diğer arşiv fonlarına da başvurulmuştur.`Türkmen'in kaidesi` olarak bilinen Kastamonu bölgesinin, incelenen dönemde idarî yapısının belirlenmesi ve kazadaki görevlilerinin tespiti yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Kazadaki fizikî yapı ve ekonomik hayat belgelere yansıdığı ölçüde ele alınmıştır. Canlı bir ekonomik hayatın olduğu kazada, birçok esnaf grubunun var olduğu görülmektedir. Tespit edilen gıda ve tüketim maddelerin birçoğunun kaza dışından ithal edildiği de söylenebilir.Diğer taraftan toplumu oluşturan unsurlar ve toplumun temeli olan aile hakkında da bilgiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca kaza nüfusunun tespiti konusunda avarız hane sayısı esas alınarak tahmin yürütülmeye çalışılmıştır. Mahkemeye intikal eden toplumsal olaylar incelenerek halkın olumsuz durumlarda hakkını savunduğu belgelerden tespit edilebilmektedir. Tüm bu veriler yeri geldiğinde diğer şehirler ile kıyaslanarak karşılaştırmalı bir değerlendirme de yapılmıştır.

In this study, the socio-cultural, administrative, physical, economic and demographic structure Kastamonu district in the first half of 18th century was discussed. Sheriyya registers, including court records, were utilized as a source. Thanks to these archival documents, the socio-cultural, economic, administrative and architectural structure of the district has been identified. In this study conducted in Kastamonu, besides the Sheriyya registers known as first-hand sources, other archive funds were used as needed.The administrative structure of the Kastamonu region, which is known as ve the base of Turkmen `, was determined and the determiniation of the officials in the disrict was determined. The physical structure and economic life in the district were taken into consideration as reflected in the documents. It is seen that there are many tradesmen tradesmen groups in the province where there is a live economic life. It is also possible to say that most of the food and ingredients are imported from outside the province.On the other hand, information is given about the elements that make up the society and the family the foundation of the society. İn addition, the estimation of the population of the province was made based on the number of households. The social incidents that have been brought to court can be examined and the identified from the documents that it advocates in negative situations. All these data were compared with other cities and a comparative evaluation was made.
