II. Meşrutiyet Döneminde Osmanlı düşünce hayatında Said Halim Paşa

Abstract

Bu çalışmada II. Meşrutiyet döneminde Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda hem devlet adamlığı yapmış, hem de eserleriyle düşünce hayatım etkilemiş olan olan Said Halim Paşa ele alınmıştır. Tezin amacı Said Halim Paşayı II. Meşrutiyet döneminin düşünce zenginliği içerisinde ele alıp farklı ve özgün yanlarım değerlendirmektir. Said Halim Paşa'mn Osmanlı İmparatorluğunu çöküşten kurtarmak için çözüm yollan arayan bir devlet ve düşünce adamı olması onun düşünce hayatımızdaki yerini önemli hale getiren bir özelliktir. Üç bölümden ibaret olan çalışmanın birinci bölümün' de Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun II. Meşrutiyet döneminde geçirdiği tarihsel değişim süreci ve düşünce hareketleri incelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde Said Halim Paşa'mn hayatı ve eserlerindeki düşünceleri aktarılmaya ve değerlendirilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Son bölüm Said Halim Paşa'mn özgün bir şahsiyet olarak değerlendirilmesine ayrılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucu itibariyle Said Halim Paşa'mn kendine özgü ve önemli düşünceleri olan bir fikir adamı ve II. Meşrutiyet döneminde ki tüm devlet adamları gibi onunda devleti kurtarmak için gayret eden bir devlet adamı olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Said Halim Paşa genel olarak İslamcılık düşüncesi içinde yer almakla beraber onun zengin düşünce yapısı İslamcılığı aşan farklılıklara sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu yüzden müstakil çalışmaların konusu olması son derece anlamlı ve gereklidir.

The subject of this study is the place and the importance of Said Halim Pasha who served as a statesman as and an intellectual with his works in the H Constitutional period. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate specifically Said Halim Pasha with his unique identity by focusing on his two aspecst. Put it differently Said Halim Pasha was both statesman and intellectual who produced original ideas to rescue the Ottoman Empire in the last phase. The Thesis is composed of thee chapters. In the first chapter, the historical transformation period and the intellectual movements. Which the Ottoman Empire witnessed in the II. Constitutional Monarchy period are investigated. The aim of the second chapters is to explain and evaluate Said Halim Pasha's ideas and opinions in his works. The final chapter deals with the evaluation of Said Halim Pasha as an original personality. As a result of this study, it was seen that Said Halim Pasha was an intellectual who had original and important thoughts and at the same time, he was a statesman who made it his duty to rescue the State like the other statesman of the II. Constitutional Monarchy Period. It should be noted that an evaluation of the personalities separately could lead us to healthier results. Although Said Halim Pasha took part in the intellectual movement of Islamism in general, he also had some different aspects. Evaluation of Said Halim Pasha as a separate individual woud be significant and beneficial for a comprehensive historical analysis.
