dc.description.abstract | SUMMARY THE RELATION BETWEEN POLICY OF USING INTERNAL SOURCES IN RECRUITMENT AND JOB SATISFACTION (A CASE STUDY) Keywords: Policy of using internal sources in recruitment, internal transfer and promotion opportunities, job satisfaction Gradually, job satisfaction has been getting important for organisation in order to function produvtively and efficiently. There are lots of factors that affect job satisfaction, such as wage, promotion opportunities, working conditions/environment, management, individual specialities etc. In this study, promotion opportunities accepted one of the effective factors on job satisfaction are dealt with as a main research topic. For this purpose, internal transfer and promotion opportunities, a part of policy of using internal sources in recruitment, are dealt with. The main goal of this study is to analyse policy of using internal sources in recruitment and job satisfaction and to bring to light relation between those. After theoretical study, research has made to reveal relation between internal transfer and promotion opportunities and job satisfaction in a non-interest bank. The research universe is 283 employee, who work in the non-interest bank. Among those, 172 personnel who had used internal transfer and promotion opportunities and were selected randomly have taken sample. In the research, data has gained by questionnaire, interview and examining documents. Generally, the bank's personnel has had job satisfaction. Besides, it is understood that personnel has not been satisfied by wage and subsidiaries. Results gained research show that there is a significant relation between internal transfer and promotion opportunities, a part of policy of using internal sources in recruitment, and job satisfaction. It has been revealed that policy of using internal sources in recruitment increases job satisfaction. | |
