Lisanslı tenis sporcularının sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerinin analizi (İstanbul ili Ted ve Enka spor kulüpleri)

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı tenis sporunun sosyo ekonomik açıdan topluma yansımaları, bu sporu yapan kişilerin toplum içindeki yerlerinin ve statülerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma kapsamına alınan tenisçilerimizin sosyo ekonomik ve kültürel özellikleri hakkında veri toplamak için anket formu kullanılmıştır, anket sorularının hazırlanmasında uzmanların görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri SPSS paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuçlar P<0.05 önem seviyesine göre anlamlı olup olmadığı ortaya çıkartılarak tablolaştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ilinde spor faaliyetlerini sürdüren lisanslı tenisçiler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu da TED ve ENKA spor kulüplerinde yer alan lisanslı 60 tenis sporcusudur. Bu kulüpleri tercih nedenimiz İstanbul ilinde sayısal yeterliliğe ve Türkiye genelinde üst düzey sporculara sahip olmalarındandır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda tenis sporunun çekirdek aile antrenör ve spor kulübü faktörlerini bir araya getiren birleştirici bir unsur olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Tenis sporcularının üyesi olduğu çekirdek ailelerinin durumu incelendiğinde özellikle anne ve kardeşlerin büyük ölçüde de babanın tenis sporunu çok sevdikleri, çocuklarının tenis sporunu oynamaları için yönlendirdikleri görülmektedir. Tenis sporunu seçen ailelerin eğitim ve gelir seviyesinin yüksek olması tenis malzemelerinin pahalılığı tenis sporunun genellikle sosyo ekonomik durumu yüksek ailelerimiz tarafından tercih edildiğini dolayısıyla tenis sporunun elit tabaka sporu olduğu görülmektedir. Ayrıca tenis sporunda bu sporu yapan kişilerin malzeme temini kulüp bazında spor yapabilme imkanının ne düzeyde olduğu aile içi destek görüp görmediği irdelenmiştir. SUMMARY The purpose of this study is to analyze the social and economical reflections of the tennis sports on the society and to examine the place of tennis players in the society. To obtain data about the tennis players, enquiry forms were used experts' ideas were taken into consideration whilst preparing the enquiry forms. The collected data were evaluated by the SPSS program. The results were divided into groups according to their signifiance. The tennis players taken in to research are the licensed players living in Istanbul. The search group consists of 60 licensed tennis players from ENKA and TED. Our reason of preference is both these schools competence and the facilities they offer. Through the researchs and analysises we may conclude that tennis is a sport that brings together the sportmen's families, the trainer and the sports' club. In this study it's once again realised that the families direct their children in their choices when it comes to choose which sports to practise. Since tennis is a sports that has rather expensive costs, most of the tennis players belong to educated and well off families. It may be said that tennis is a sports that the elite prefers. In this study by which means players obtain their equipment whether they belong to a certain club or not and whether their families support them or not are also examined. In conclusion we may state that tennis is becoming one of the most preffered sports each and every day by the elite of the society. X
