Mesleki metinlerin mekanik çeviri versiyonları

Abstract

ÖZET Bilgi çağında dil öğrenmek kaçınılmaz bir gereksinim, çeviri de dışa açılmanın ve teknolojiden yararlanmanın bir aracıdır. Mekanik çeviri bir teknolojik gelişme olarak kabul edilmelidir. Teknolojik gelişmelerle iç içe yaşamanın gerekliliğini açıkça ortaya koyar. Mekanik çeviri; bir dil içerisindeki metinlerin bilgisayar ortamından istenilen dile aktarılmasını sağlayan bir sistemdir. Bu aktarma bilgisayarın kendi içinde oluşturulan sözlük sayesinde gerçekleşmektedir. Mekanik çeviri elbette mükemmel bir çeviri değildir. Amaç kullanıcının okuduğunu kısa zamanda anlamasını ve istediği dilde çevirisini görmektir. Bu çevirilerde diller arasında anlamsal, dilbilgisel, biçimsel farklılıklar da oluşabilir. Fakat mekanik çeviri sisteminde gerçekleşecek hatalar direk kullanıcı ve programın sözcük kapasitesiyle ilgilidir. Uzun zamandan beri üzerinde çalışmaları süregelen mekanik çevirisinde düzenli, hızlı, doğru ve güvenilir bir çeviri elde etmek hedeflenmiştir. Buna rağmen günümüze kadar mekanik çeviri sistemlerindeki gelişmeler hiçbir zaman başarılı olamamıştır. Çünkü makinenin insanda olduğu gibi duyuları, duyguları ve beyni yoktur. İnsan bir hata yaptığında bunu düzeltme şansına sahipken bilgisayardaki sistemde hatalar olduğu gibi karşımıza çıkar. Bu durumda kullanıcının aktarımlarda çok dikkatli olması gerekmektedir. Yazılan en ufak bir harf hatası bile sonucu çok farklı şekilde verir. Sistem yanlışı olduğu gibi aktarır. Böylece ana metindeki anlamdan sapma yaşanmış olur. Mekanik çevirinin birinci şartı sözcük-sözcük çeviri tekniğidir. Bunun için de bir sözcük temel alınır ve her kelimenin karşılığı bulunur ve çeviri bu biçimde tamamlanmaya çalışılır. Ancak burada eksiklik her dilin bir kelimesinin birden çok anlamı olabileceği olasılığının göz ardı edilmesidir. Dolayısıyla yapılan otomatik çevirinin sonuçları çok tatmin edici ve faydalı olmamaktadır. II

And translation is a way of opening outside and using technology. A mechanical translate should be accepted as a technology development. Mechanical translante; it is a system which transships the writings from a language in a computer environment. It happens with the dictionary in the computer. Of course a mechanical translate is not excellent. The target is that the user can know in a very short time what the meaning of the translation is. In these translations it can happen that there is meaning, languageknowledge and form differents. But the faults of a mechanical translation is because of the direct user and program dictionary. Since a long time it is a target that the long time of works of mechanical translations can be tidy, fast, right and trustable. But still until now no of the mechanical translation systems are successful. Cause the machines don't have feelings and brain. The faults of the computers is coming right to us, but a human has the chance to correct it. In this case the user must be careful with his transship. Even a very small fault of a letter can give a very different end. The system gives it right as it is. So there would be a other meaning from the original text. The first condition of a mechanical translate is a word-word translate technic. For that every word is taken foundation and the meaning will be found and the translation will be finished like this. The deficiency is that in every language one word has more than one meaning. This shoul be foreseen. Therefore is the end of a mechanical translation not satisfy and useful.
