İhracatta akreditifli ödeme şeklinin kullanım nedenleri ve bir uygulama

Abstract

Anahtar Kelimeler: Akreditifli Ödeme, Ödeme Şekilleri Dünyada mal ve hizmet ticaretinde yaşanan liberalleşme eğilimlerinin bir uzantısı olarak; teknoloji, iletişim ve ulaştırma alanlarında ortaya çıkan gelişmelerin de etkisiyle uluslararası ticaret konusu önemini artırmış, ülkelerin dış kaynak ihtiyaçlarım karşılamada çok önemli bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Uluslararası ticaretin gerçekleşmesi esnasında genel olarak beş tane ödeme şekli kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada söz konusu ödeme şekillerinden Akreditifli Ödeme' nin incelemesi yapılmıştır. Akreditifli Ödeme şeklinin firmalar açısından tercih edilme sebeplerini ve konuyla ilgili sorunları önem sırasına göre tespit edebilmek çalışmanın esas amacım teşkil etmektedir. Altı ana bölümden oluşan çalışmanın birinci bölümünde; uluslararası ticaret kavramı, dünyada ve Türkiye'de dış ticaretin gelişimi incelenmiştir. ikinci bölümde, dış ticarette kullanılan teslim ve ödeme şekilleri ele alınmış, söz konusu sürecin türleri ile aşamaları üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde, akreditif irdelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda akreditifin tamım yapılmış, hukuki boyutu ortaya konulmuş ve söz konusu ödemenin işleyişi incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, akreditifli ödemenin gerçekleştirilmesindeki en önemli faktörlerden dış ticaret belgeleri ele alınmış, her birinin nerede, ne şekilde kullanıldığı açıklanmıştır. Beşinci bölümde ise akreditif türleri incelenmiştir. Dört ayrı grup altmda açıklaması yapılan her bir akreditif türünün özellikleri, hangi amaçla kullanıldıkları ifade edilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde ise akreditifli ödeme şeklini kullanan firmalara anket uygulanmıştır. VIII

Keywords: Documentary Credit, Payment Types The importance of foreign trade subject has been increasing by effects of rapidly developments in technology, communication and transportation areas as a result of liberation trends in goods and service trading that have been experienced in the World and foreign trade has become an important factor in meeting outsource requirements of the countries. Five payment types are generally being used in the process of realizing foreign trade. In this study, documentary credit which is a payment type, has ben scrutinized. The main aim of this study is to define the reasons of documentary credit to be preferred by the firms and to determine the problems related to the subject according to their priorities. In the first section of the study that consists of six main chapters, foreign trade concept and the development of foreign trade in the World and in Turkey, have been examined. In the second chapter, delivery and payment types in foreign trade have been studied, the kinds and stages of this process have been scrutinized. In the third chapter, documentary credit has been examined. In this connection, its defination has been made and its legitimate dimension has been brought up and this payment in question has been examined in terms of its activity methods. In the fourth chapter, foreign trade documents that are the most important factors in realizing documentary credit have been examined and explained where and how they are used. In the fifth chapter, documentary credit types has been examined. Every documentary credit type features, that has been examined under four different groups, have been explained according to their usage purposes. In the last chapter, a questionnaire has been made with firms that use documentary credit types. IX
