Ankara il merkezinde kız meslek lisesi tekstil-konfeksiyon bölümündeki öğretmen, öğrenci ve ailelerin ev ödevlerine yaklaşımları

Abstract

Ill ÖZET Eğitim, bireyin davranışlarında kendi yaşantısı yoluyla istendik değişme meydana getirme süreci olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Eğitim sadece okulda gerçekleşen bir süreç değildir. Bireyin okulda geçirdiği zamanın azlığı göz önüne alındığında sınıf dışı etkinliklerin önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu etkinliklerden biri olan ev ödevleri, öğrencilerin evde, kütüphanede veya etüd odalarında öğretmen gözetiminde olmaksızın yaptıkları çalışmalardır. Bu araştırmada Kız Meslek Liseleri Tekstil Konfeksiyon Bölümü öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilerinin ev ödevleri konusundaki görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla giyim öğretmenlerinin ev ödevi verirken göz önünde bulundurdukları amaçların ve ev ödevinin etkinliğini artırmak için kullandıkları yöntemlerin neler olduğu; öğrenci ve velilerin ev ödevleri hakkındaki görüşleri araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca giyim derslerinden verilen ödevlerle diğer derslerden verilen ödevlerin karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya konu verilerin toplanabilmesi için öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilere yönelik olarak ayrı ayrı anketler hazırlanmıştır. Bu anketler Ankara il merkezinde bulunan altı Kız Meslek Lisesinin Tekstil konfeksiyon Bölümünde uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bilgisayara girilerek SPSS programı ile istatistiksel açıdan analiz edilmiştir. Bu analizler frekans tabloları, çapraz tablolar ve değişkenler arası ilişkilerin araştırıldığı Ki kare testleri şeklinde olmuştur. Sonuç olarak her üç grubun da ev ödevleri konusunda işbirliğine hazır bir şekilde olumlu görüşlere sahip olduğu görülerek ev ödevlerinin daha etkin hale getirilebilmesi amacıyla bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

IV ABSTRACT Education is defined as the process that changes one's behaviours consciously by his/her way of living. Education process does not take place in school environment only. Because time period which is spent in school is insufficient, activities beyond school become more important. As one of those activities, homework is the studies performed by students without supervision of teachers in home, library or study rooms. This study is done to determine the opinions of teachers, students and their parents who are from the textile-ready made clothing department of vocational high schools, about the homework. The goals of the teachers expected from homework, the policies that they implement, the opinions of students and parents are searched. Homeworks from textile courses and the other courses are compared. Data for the study are collected by using surveys prepared for teachers, students and parents. These surveys are carried out in the textile-ready clothing departments of six vocational high schools in Ankara. Data obtained statistically analyzed by using SPSS software. Those analysis include frequency tables, cross tables and chi-square tests for searching the relationship between variables. As a result, it is concluded that every group has a positive approach and ready to cooperate on the subject of homeworks. At the end, researcher proposes some suggestions to make homeworks more effective.
