Abstract
1 *. m. Faruk BAYKOÇ GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY January 1988 ABSTRACT In this thesis, the analysis of the Network Theory having become one of the most important subject of Operations Research recently and the analysis of the shortest path which is one of the special subject of the same have been studied o After an introduction to the Network Theory having been made, the various algorithms concerning the shortest path analysis have been given and the approach to the shortest path analysis have been applied to the relationship between the models of Assignment and Transshipment that are the special cases of Transportation Model. IIBy this thesis, it is possible to get the result that the roost of the said analysis are both useful that to enable as far as to bring solution to problems or is a method which is elastic as far as to be able to concern by different solution methods of the Operations Research.
