Abstract
The aim of this project is to adjust the speed of athree phase squirrel cage induction motor to any desiredvalue between zero and its rated value, using power electronicscomponents and a microcomputer~ and to develop acontrolling .system which will be abl~ to transfer a- loadfrom any initial position to a .. de~ired position in minimumtime, under some restrictions.The main parts of the system are, a microprocessor,a converter, an inverter, a main control unit, a threephase squirrel cage induction motor and a tachometer.
