Design of backward curved centrifugal fans with computer aid

Abstract

VI GERİYE E?İMLİ KANATLI RADYAL VANTİLATÖRLERİN BİLGİSAYAR YARDIMI İLE TASARIMI ÖZET Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk olarak saçtan imal edilen geriye eğimli dairesel kanatlı radyal vantilatörlerin tasarımı için bir metod geliştirilmiştir. İkinci aşamada bu metoda bağlı olarak bir bilgisayar programı yazılmıştır. En son kısımda ise bilgisayar yardımı ile dizayn edilen bir prototip imal edilerek test edilmiş ve daha sonra test sonuçları bilgisayar programı çıktıları ile karşılaştırmıştır.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN OF BACKWARD CURVED CENTRIFUGAL FANS ABSTRACT The work consists of three parts. Firstly a method is developed for the design of backward curved centrifugal fans with arc shaped impeller blades made of sheet steel. Secondly, a computer code is created using the method defined. Finally a prototype, designed with the computer aid, is manufactured and tested. The test results are then compared with those computed by the computer program.
