Abstract

GEOTEKSTILLERİN DİNAMİK ÖZELLİKLERİ ÖZET Geotekstiller inşaat endüstrisinde nisbeten yeni malzemelerdir. Dolayısıyla geotekstilleri uygulama deneyimi henüz diğer malzemelerdeki kadar fazla değildir Buna karşın geotekstilleri test yöntemlerinin oldukça geniş bir sahası vardır, çünkü bu yöntemler tekstil endüstrisinde kullanılan yöntemlere pek çok yönden benzemektedir. Geotekstil test yöntemleri kullanım esnasındaki gerçek koşulları; özelliklerin bu koşullar altında değerlendirilebilmesi için, yansıtmalıdır. Geotekstiller ömürleri boyunca yerleştirilmiş oldukları yapıda hareketli yükeri de içeren pek çok yükü taşımalıdırlar. Dolayısıyla dinamik yükleme altındaki davranışlarını anlayabilmek önemlidir. İki farklı geotekstilin dinamik yükleme altındaki davranışını belirlemek üzere, bir test düzeneği kurulmuştur. Düzenek serbest haldeki geotekstiller için düşey, tek eksenli bir dinamik çekme aleti olarak tasarlanmıştır. Testler esnasında alman ölçümleri ve test sonuçlarını gösteren tablo ve grafikler sunulmuştur.

IV DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF GEOTEXTILES ABSTRACT Geotextiles are relatively new materials in the construction industry. Therefore experience on application of geotextiles is not yet as much as on other materials. However, testing methods for geotextiles have a wide range due to their similarities to the testing methods in the textile industry. Testing methods for geotextiles should reflect the real conditions under usage in order to evaluate the properties under these conditions. Geotextiles have to bear several loads including live loads during their life time in the structure they are placed. Therefore it is important to be able to understand their behavior under dynamic loading. A test apparatus is constructed to determine the tensile behavior of two different geotextiles under dynamic loading. The apparatus is designed as a vertical uniaxial dynamic tensile testing equipment for testing geotextiles in isolation. Charts and tables showing the measurements taken during tests and the test results are presented.
