Abstract
iv KISA ÖZET Bu çalışmada toplamsal Gauss dağılımlı beyaz gürültüyle uzayda değişmez bulanıklık tarafından bozulmuş imge setinin aralarındaki ve uzaysaî düzlemdeki özbağınımlan da kullanılarak tanımı ve onarımı sorunu incelenmiştir. En büyük olabilirlik yaklaşımından hareket edilerek model parametrelerinin saptanmasında ve onarım safhasında beklenti-enbüyütme (EM) algoritması kullanılmıştır. İmge setindeki her çerçevenin 2-boyutlu Ayrık Fourier Dönüşümü alındıktan sonra işlemler frekans düzleminde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Etkin bir yöntem kullanılarak işlemler NM #NM boyutlu matrisler üzerinde değil N*N boyutlu matrislerde M kere tekrarlanarak yapılmıştır. Paralel işlem yöntemiyle her iterasyonda harcanan zaman M kere azaltılabilinir. Fakat bunun için özel donanım gerekmektedir. Benzetim çalışmaları değişik gürültü seviyelerinde denenmiştir ve çalışmaya eklenmiştir. üi ABSTRACT This thesis focuses on the combined identification and restoration of an image sequence degraded by both spatial blur and additive Gaussian white noise by utilizing both the spatial and temporal correlations that exist in and among frames. The maximum likelihood approach mathematically determined by the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm, is used in finding the identification parameters and consequently the restored image set. The algorithm is implemented in the frequency domain. After taking the 2-D Discrete Fourier Transform (2-D DFT) of each channel, a computationally efficient method is used in which the calculations are performed on N*N matrices (where N is the number of channels) M times instead of the NM * NM matrices (where M is the number of pixels in a frame). Parallel processing can be possible on special hardware. Simulation results are presented for different signaî-to-noise ratios (SNR).
