Abstract
Bu tezde, Türkiye'nin 500 büyük firmasının piyasa payı 1983- 1992 yılları arasında incelenmiştir. Toplam satış hasılatı, bilanço kan, dışsatım tutarı, ücretle çalışanlar ortalaması, öz sermaye, katma değer ve üretimden satışlar açıklayıcı değişkenler olarak kullanılmıştır. Türkiye'deki 500 büyük firma ile dünyadaki 500 büyük' firma sıralamasına giren şirketler üretimden satışları baz alınarak karşılaştırılmıştır. In this study, market-share of 500 largest Turkish firms is attempted to be explained for the period between 1983-1992. The sales revenue, income statement profit, export revenues, units of labor employed, main capital, value added and sales revenue from production are used as explanatory variables. The 500 largerst Turkish firms and international firms in the world are compared sector by sector according to sales revenue from production and found that technological development affects the Turkish firms The exports & sales revenue, structure of the sectors.and ownership of the firms are determinant of firms market share. This showed that petroleum, chemical.and automobile industries have oligopolistic structure, and consumer products' sectors are competitive structure. In the former market firms have higher market share, and firms which are in the later market have smaller market share IV
