Abstract
123 SUMMARY Civil disobedience which is also called as ` a little right of resistance` is a protest action which is made open to the public, without using violence and against an unjust attitute of state. This action that is stemming from a political-etic motivation is illegal and the activist has been ready to endure the consequences of his pasture. Although civil disobedience, the leaders of which are accepted as Sokrates, Henry David Thoreau and Mahatma Gandhi has been discussed for many years in other countries, it is a new concept for our coyntry. Nevertheless there have been some civil disobedience movements in our country although they haven't named as `civil disobedience''. `Teacher Boycott` in 1969, `the demonstrations of Saturday mothers`, `General Resistance in 3 January`, ` campain of the villagers in Bergama` are some of the civil disobedience movements in our country.
