Akif Paşa (1787-1845) ve Tabsıra

Abstract

Biz bu çalışmamızda, 19. yüzyılda yaşamış, Dahiliye ve Hariciye Nazırlığı yapmış bir Osmanlı Paşasının; Akif Paşa'nın, siyasi çalkantılarla dolu hayatını vermeye ve edebi kişiliğini ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Yine tezimizin önemli bir bölümünü teşkil eden ve Akif Paşa'nın en önemli eserlerinden olan Tabsıra'nıın siyasi ve edebi değerini dikkatlere sunduk. Siyasi bir jurnal hatta bir şikayetname özelliği arz eden Tabsıra adlı eseri öncelikle günümüz Türkçesine aktardık. Bu eserden hareketle o dönem Osmanlı bürokrasisinin batıya karşı nasıl yenik düştüğünü göstermeye çalıştık. Zira basit bir zabıta vakası dış baskılar sonucunda iki Bakanı koltuğundan etmekle kalmamış, birinin idamına, diğerinin de sürgünlerde hayatını devam ettirmesine sebebiyet vermiştir. Kelime anlamı itibariyle `İnsanın gözünü açacak bilgi` anlamına gelen Tabsıra'da resmi dil, edebi dil ve konuşma dili bir arada kullanılmıştır. Eserin üslubu büyük bir yenilik arz etmez. Yer yer ağırlaştırılmasına, kelime oyunlarıyla, çeşitli söz sanatlarıyla doldurulmasına rağmen kitap Akif Paşa'nın ikinci tarzı diyebileceğimiz tarza, yani sanat göstermekten ziyade kendisini olduğu gibi vermeyi tercih ettiği eserlerine yakındır.

In this study, we have tried to put forth the literate and the agitational life of the Ottoman Pasha; Akif Pasha who has lived in the 19th century and who has been the internal and the foreign minister and his political and literal life. Also, we've tried to examine the literal and the political side of the most impoxtantwock oiAktf Pasha which is Tabsira. As a complaintment and a report of an informer the Tabsira, we have translated into daily Turkish language. According to this work, we've tried to show how weak the Ottoman bureaucracy lost against the western powers. So, a simple police event not only ended two minister's official position, but also made one minister's execution, and the other's exile through out his life. For the meaning of the word, Tabsira, the information to make the person to open his eyes the informal, literal and the colloquial language has been used together. The literal side of the work is not new. Although the language's meaning has new- tef ms; a hard language, a heavy vocabulary, and the using of. a different word language, Akif Pasha's manner is not to show the art way and to give the event as it is, which is as same as his other works.
