Ayder`in sürdürülebilir turizm kalkınması sürecinin turizm paydaşları tarafından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Ayder'in doğal, kültürel ve sosyal değerleri turizm faaliyetlerinin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu nedenle turizmde çevresel ve sosyo-kültürel sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın sağlanması bölge için büyük önem teşkil etmektedir. Diğer yandan Ayder konumu itibariyle koruma ve yatırım temelli farklı statülere sahiptir; bu durum turizm merkezi ilan edilen bölgede paydaşların turizm sürecine katılımının ve fikir paylaşımının önemini arttıran bir faktördür. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında Ayder destinasyonunun sürdürülebilir turizm kalkınması süreci çevresel, sosyo-kültürel, ekonomik ve iyi yönetim boyutları açısından turizm paydaşları tarafından değerlendirilmiştir. Buna ek olarak paydaşlarlaa sürdürülebilir turizm kalkınması kavramı, destinasyonun turizm kaynakları, bölgede turizmin geleceği ve destinasyon ile destinasyonun sürdürülebilir turizm kalkınması sürecine dair eksik ve önerilerle ilgili soruları da içeren bir mülakat yapılmıştır. Çalışmada paydaşların hem Ayder'in sürdürülebilir turizm kalkınması sürecini hem de bu süreç içerisinde kendilerini değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Bu amaçla kamu kurumları, sivil toplum kuruluşları, özel sektör, uzmanlar ve medya temsilcilerinden oluşan paydaş gruplarından toplamda 29 kişiye yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme uygulanmıştır. Araştırma neticesinde Ayder çevresinde temel olarak iyi yönetim gerekliliklerinin yerine getirilmemesine bağlı olarak sürdürülebilir çevresel, sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik kalkınma süreçlerinin varlığından bahsedilemediği sonucuna varılmış ve temel sorunlar ile önemli görülen alt sorunlarla ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Natural, cultural and social values of Ayder are the basis of tourism activities. Thus providing natural, socio-cultural sustainable development has great importance for the area. Thus providing natural, socio-cultural sustainable development is crucial for the area. On the other hand, Ayder has different protection and investment status because of its location; and this is a factor increasing the importance of stakeholders that participate the tourism process and share ideas in the area declared as a tourism center. Within the context of this thesis, sustainable tourism development process of Ayder destination is evaluated in terms of natural, socio-cultural, economical and good governance by the local tourism stakeholders. In addition to this, stakeholders are asked about sustainable tourism development concept, tourism resources of the destination, future of the tourism in the area and deficients of sustainable tourism development process of the destination and their suggestions about the subject. Within the research, stakeholders are asked for both evaluating the sustainable tourism development process of Ayder and their own position within the process. Semi-structured interviews have been made with 29 people from stakeholder groups including public authorities, nongovernmental organizations, private sector enterpreneurs, experts and media agents for this purpose. At the end of the research, it has been found out that sustainable environmental, socio-cultural and economic development process can not exist as a result of unfulfilled obligations of good governance and some suggestions have been made about basic problems and sub-problems regarded as significant in and around Ayder.
