Belirli tipteki kübik sayı cisimlerinin sınıf sayıları hakkında

Abstract

ÖZET Belirli tipteki kübik sayı cisimlerinin fundamental birimlerini ve sınıf sayılarını belirleyebilmeyi amaçlayan bu çalışmada izlenen plan aşağıdaki biçimdedir. I. Bölümde konuyla ilgili gerekli ön bilgiler verilmektedir. II. Bölümde kübik sayı cisimlerinin temel özellikleri ve belirli tipteki totally reel kübik sayı cisimlerinin fundamental birimleri belirlenmektedir. III. Bölümde pure kübik sayı cisimlerinin temel özellikleri, fundamental birimleri incelenmekte ve sınıf sayıları iki farklı yöntemle belirlenmektedir.

SUMMARY The plan of the present work in while the class numbers and fundemental units of certain cubic fields are investigated, is the following: Required background material is given in Chapter I In Chapter II, basic properties of cubic fields and fundamental units of certain totally real cubic fields are determined. In Chapter III, basic properties and fundamental units of pure cubic fields are investigated and then the class numbers of pure cubic fields are determined by using two alternative methods.
