Kadına yönelik şiddetin mekansal görünümleri (Muğla örneği)

Abstract

Kadına yönelik şiddet çok yaygın ve çok boyutlu bir konudur. Kadına yönelik şiddet toplumlarda çok sık görülmekle birlikte fiziksel, psikolojik, cinsel ve ekonomik boyutları olan bir olgudur. Bu bağlamda sadece bir disiplini ilgilendiren bir konu değil birçok disiplini ilgilendiren bir konudur. Bu çalışmada kadına yönelik şiddet kır ve kent ekseninde ele alınmıştır. Kırın ve kentin toplumsal yapısının birbirinden farklı olduğu varsayımından hareketle kırda ve kentte kadına şiddet olgusu değerlendirlmiştir. Nitel yöntemin benimsendiği bu çalışmada kadına yönelik şiddet olgusu, algısı, boyutları ve aile içi ilişkiler Muğla İli özelinde değerlendirilmiştir.

Violence against women is a very common and multidimensional issue. Violence against women is a common phenomenon in societies, but it also has a physical, psychological, sexual and economic dimension. In this context, it is an issue that concerns not only a discipline but also many disciplines. In this study, violence against women is discussed in the rural and urban axis. Based on the assumption that the social structure of the rural and the city is different from each other, the phenomenon of violence against women in rural and urban areas is evaluated. In this study, where qualitative method was adopted, the phenomenon of violence against women, its perception, dimensions and family relations were evaluated in Muğla province.
