Abstract
Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımlar ve Ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki yıllardır tartışılmakta ve incelenmektedir. Konu üzerine birçok araştırma örneği bulunmaktadır. CEMAC, bu ilişkinin net görülebileceği topluluklardan biri olduğu için bu çalışma, Orta Afrika Ekonomik ve Parasal Topluluğu'nun makroekonomik performansını incelemekte, grubun ortaya çıkışını, hedeflerini ve kuruluşundaki bölgesel çabaları ele almaktadır. Bu çalışma Topluluğun kurumsal yapıyı ve sektörel entegrasyon sürecini, entegrasyon sürecini gerçekleştirmek için oluşturduğu organizasyon yapısını ve politikalarını tanımlamaktadır. Grup, tarım sektörüne öncelik vermekte, aynı zamanda enerji ve madencilik sektörlerine hammadde ihracatı ve grubun ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda ulaşım ve iletişim altyapısına odaklanmaktadır. Bu çalışma ekonomik grubun performansını incelemekte ve ulusal ülke ekonomisine odaklanmaktadır. Analiz şu incelemeleri içerir: enflasyon, Gayri Safi Milli Hasıla, CEMAC ülkeleri içindeki işsizlik oranı ve yabancı yatırım ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi gösteren klasik ve neoklasik okul kuramları. İncelemelerin yanında bölgedeki yabancı yatırım akışını ve miktarlarını sınırlayan farklı nedenleri de araştırmaktadır. Çalışmada kullanılan analiz, 6 CEMAC ülkesinin 1992'den 2016'ya kadar olan dönemdeki ekonomik veriler kullanılarak aşağıda yer alan sorulara cevap aranmıştır. Son yıllarda CEMAC pazarlarının güçlü ekonomik büyümesinin temel nedenlerinden biri olan DYY; DYY'lerin CEMAC piyasalarının ekonomik büyümesi üzerinde diğer makroekonomik verilere göre daha fazla etkisi var mı? Çalışmada kullanılan bağımlı ve bağımsız değişkenler arasında uzun süreli bir ilişki var mı? Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımlar ekonomik büyümeyi kısa ve uzun vadede etkiliyor mu? Elde edilen bulgulardan, CEMAC'ın ekonomisinde doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar ile GSYİH büyümesi arasında uzun vadede nedensel bir ilişki olduğu ifade edilebilir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırım, Ekonomik Büyüme, CEMAC, Nedensellik, ECM, Panel Verileri This study examines the macroeconomic performance of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community since 1994, deals with the emergence of the group, its objectives and the regional efforts during its establishment. This study identifies its organizational structure and the policies set by the Community to achieve the integration process, as well as the institutional performance and sectoral integration of the group. The group gives priority to the agriculture sector. It focuses also on the energy and mining sectors through the exportation of raw materials, as well as the needs of the group in the transportation and communications infrastructure. This study examines the performance of the economic group and focuses on its national economy. The analysis includes: inflation, gross national product, unemployment rate within the CEMAC countries, and studies the classical and neoclassical school theories that illustrate the relationship between foreign investment and Economic growth. This work studies also the foreign investments flow in the region and the different reasons that limits its amounts. The economic analysis used in the study based on the data of 6 CEMAC countries from 1992 to 2016, and also used to answer the following questions: Does FDI, one of the main reasons for the strong economic growth of CEMAC markets in recent years? Does FDIs have more impact on the economic growth of CEMAC markets than other macroeconomic data? Is there a long-term relationship between dependent and independent variables used in the study? Does Foreign Direct Investments affect economic growth in short and long term? From the findings, it can be said that CEMAC's economy has a long-term causal relationship between foreign direct investment and GDP growth. According to the obtaineds; it can be said that there is a long run causal relationship between foreign direct investments and GDP growth in the CEMAC's economy.
