Abstract

Naci ÖZERBu araştırmada 2005-2006 öğretim yılında Eskişehir lindeki lköğretim okullarındaokutulan dördüncü sınıf matematik ders kitaplarının görsel, biçimsel, içerik, alıştırma-değerlendirme ve yardımcı materyaller açısından öğretmen görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesiamaçlanmıştır.Araştırma tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla ankethazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan anketler Eskişehir ili Merkez ilçe sınırları içinde yer alan 44ilköğretim okulunda 106 öğretmene uygulanmıştır.Verilerin çözümü için önce öğretmenlerin verdikleri yanıtların frekans ve yüzdelerihesaplanmış, her maddeye verilen yanıtların ortalamaları bulunmuş, öğretmen görüşlerininyayınevi değişkenine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek için t testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ankete katılan öğretmenlerin kitabın görsel, içerik veyardımcı materyallerine ilişkin özelliklerine katıldıkları, ancak biçimsel, alıştırma vedeğerlendirme özellikleri konusunda kararsız kaldıkları görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin derskitapları konusundaki görüşleri, yayınevi değişkenine göre değişmemiştir.

Naci ÖZERThe aim of this research is to evaluate the teacher opinions for the fourth grademathematics textbooks used at primary schools in Eskişehir during the educational year 2005-2006. The textbooks are investigated with the features of visual, formal, content, exercise-evaluation and auxiliary materials.Research has been performed in Survey Model. A questionnaire form has beendeveloped for collecting the data. The questionnaire are applied to 106 teachers at 44 PrimarySchools in the centre of Eskişehir.To analyze the data, the frequency and percentage for the responds of the teacherswere firstly calculated and then the averages of the given responds for every matter weredetermined. t-test were employed to determine differences among teacher opinions forpublishers of the textbooks.The results of the study has been demonstrated that the teachers are agree with thefeatures of the textbooks such as, visual, content and auxiliary materials but they areindecisive about the features of the textbooks such as; formal, exercise and evaluation. Theteacher opinions are not changed for the publishers of the textbooks.
