Çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin okumaya yönelik tutuma etkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Okuma, eğitimimizin vazgeçilmez bir parçasıdır. Bireyin okumayı, kitapları sevmesi ve okuma alışkanlığını edinmesi de temelde örgün eğitim sisteminde kazanılan bir beceridir. Bu becerinin kazandırılması için atılacak adımlardan birisi, ilk ve orta öğretim öğrencilerinin gelişim düzeylerine göre hazırlanmış çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri ile öğrencileri tanıştırmak, çocuğun bu kitaplarla beslenmesini sağlamaktır. Bu çalışma da, kitap okumayı çocuğun hayatının bir parçası yapmak için olumlu okuma tutumu kazandırmada çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin katkısı incelenmiştir.Yöntem: Bu araştırmada, çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin ortaokul ikinci sınıf öğrencilerine olumlu kitap okuma tutumu kazandırmadaki etkisini tespit edebilmek için nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden deneysel desenle çalışma grubundaki öğrencilerin kitap okuma tutum puanları ön-test ve son-test kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırma bulguları, çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin olumlu okuma tutumu kazandırmada etkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Deney grubundaki öğrencilerin ön test ve son test kitap okuma tutumları arasındaki fark pozitif yönde anlamlı çıkmıştır. Tartışma ve Sonuç: Bu araştırma da çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin olumlu okuma tutumu kazandırdığı görülmüştür. Gelecekten ümitli olmamız hiç şüphesiz yetiştireceğimiz neslin sağlıklı düşünen bireyler olarak topluma kazandırılması ile mümkündür. Bu da ancak sağlanacak olan iyi bir eğitimle olur. Çocuğun eğitiminde önemli bir yere sahip olan çocuk edebiyatı eserlerinin okumaya karşı olumlu tutum kazandırmada da çok önemli bir yeri vardır.Anahtar kelimeler: Kitap sevgisi, Okuma tutumu, Okuma alışkanlığı, Çocuk edebiyatı, Çocuk kitapları.

Purpose: Reading is one of the indespansable part of our education system. Loving to read, books and achieving reading habit are the skills which gained primarily in formal education. Introducing students with the child literary book which are suitable for the child's deveolpment is the fist step to achieve these skill. In this study the effect of child literary books on reading attitudes is examined to make reading books one of the part of child's life.Method: In his study, to determine the effect of child's literary book upon achieving positive reading attitude, one of the way of quantitative study experimental method is used. The points of students' reading attitude is evaluated by using experimental research. Results: The results of research show that child's literary books are effective on achieveing possitive reading habits. According to results of evaluation about students' reading habits changed in a positive way. Discussion and Conclusion: In this study, it is shown that child's literary books are effective on achieving positive reading attitude. If we want to be hopeful about future, we shoul raise up mentally thinking child. It is only possible with good education. Child's litarary books which consist very critical part of the our children's life is very important to achieve positive rading attitude.Key words: Reading pleasure, Reading attitude, Reading habit, Children's literature, Children's books.
