T.C. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı kız meslek liselerinde uygulanan yapma bebek eğitimi ve bu bebeklerin turizmde değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

ÖZET Bu araştırma, T.C. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Kız Meslek Lisesi El Sanatları Teknolojisi Bölümü, Yapma Bebek Eğitimi uygulamalarının, Turizm'de değerlendirilebilmesi açısından yeterliliğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Ankara İli sınırlarında yer alan 17 Kız Meslek Lisesinde bulunan El Sanatları Teknolojisi Bölümü, Yapma bebek Eğitimi Dersleri, örneklemini ise 2003-2004 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında görev yapmakta olan 52 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin görüşlerini alabilmek amacıyla anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Anket Kız Meslek Lisesi El Sanatları Teknolojisi öğretmenlerinin Kişisel özellikleri, Yapma Bebekçilik Dersleri hakkındaki görüşlerini ayrıca, Turizm'de satışa sunulan Bebekler ve bu bebekleri üreten turizmcilerin görüşlerini içermektedir. Elde edilen bilgiler SPSS paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarını yorumlamak için verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde ve ortalamadan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada aşağıdaki bulgular elde edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin Yapma Bebekçilik Programının hedeflerinin eksiklikleri olduğunu, fakat yapma bebekçiliğe ayrılan süreyi hedefe ulaşmak için yeterli buldukları, Yapma Bebekçilik dersi için belirtilen hedefleri ve içeriği yetersiz gördükleri,Eğitim Ortamının donanımını hedefleri gerçekleştirmek için, yetersiz bulduktan belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilere uygulanan, Yapma Bebekçilik Derslerinin piyasada geçersiz olduğu,Öğretmenlerin bulundukları bölgede, özel bebek çeşitinin olmadığı, Öğrencilerin derslerde bulunduktan bölgenin bebek çeşitini yansıtacak üretimi yapamadıkları, Piyasadaki el sanatları ile ilgili gelişmelerin derslere yansıtılamadığı, Derslerde üretilen bebekler ile piyasadaki bebeklerin üretiminin teknik ve malzeme olarak benzemediği tespit edilmiştir. Teknolojik gelişmelere bağlı olarak bebekçilik derslerinde belirli tekniklerin dışında daha pratik yöntemlerin fazla kullanılmadığı görülmüştür.Yapma Bebekçilik Derslerinde üretilen bebeklerin geleneksel özellikleri yansıttığı ve bu derslerde üretilen bebeklerin, Türkiye'deki yerel bebek çeşitliliğini yansıttığı anlaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin Yapma Bebekçilik ile ilgili teknik ve malzemede yaratıcılığını göstermelerine firsat tanındığı, Yapma Bebek Eğitiminde öğrencilerin motivasyonunu artırmak için araç-gereç sunulduğu, derslerin öğrenciler tarafından ilgi görmediği ve Yapma bebekçilik derslerinde üretilen bebeklerin öğrencileri koleksiyonculuğa teşvik etmediği belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin, Yapma Bebek derslerini yürütebilmek için çok fazla yazılı kaynak bulamadığı, yabancı kaynaklara ise hiç ulaşamadıkları saptanmıştır. Yapma Bebekçilik derslerinde üretilen bebeklerin sergilendiği ama öğrencilerin üretilen bebeklerle kazanç sağlamadıkları görülmüştür. Yapma Bebek Derslerinin daha iyi yürütülebilmesi için ortaöğretim ile bu konuda eğitim yapan Yüksek Öğretim kurumlan arasında işbirliği sağlanmadığı, Öğretmenlerin bulundukları şehirde, işletmelerde staj yapan son sınıf öğrencilerin iletişim kurup yararlanabileceği bebek atelyeleri olmadığı için staj olanağı sağlanmadığı görülmüştür. Derslerde, turizm sektöründe satışa sunulan bebek örneklerinin incelendiği ama, Öğretmenlerin Yapma bebekçilik derslerinde öğretilen bebekler ile turizm sektöründeki bebekler arasında benzerlik göremedikleri ve turizm sektöründe satışa sunulan bebekleri malzeme ve teknik açıdan yeterli bulmadıkları, Piyasada Yapma bebek üretimi ve tasarımı yapan kişilerin eğitiminin de yeterli olmadığını düşündükleri anlaşılmıştır. Yapma bebekçilik derslerinde üretilen bebeklerin pazarlanmasında destek veren kurum yada kuruluşun olmadığı için bu kurum yada kuruluşların Yapma Bebek Derslerinin geliştirilmesinde rol almadığı yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda söylenebilir.

ABSTRACT This research has been carried out in order to evaluate the practise of training in handmade dolls at Handicraft Technology Branches of Female Vocational High Schools in terms of tourism. The scope of this research is restricted to handmade dolls courses by Handicraft Technology Branches of Female Vocational High Schools in Ankara Municipality and 52 teachers performing in 2003-2004 training term. Questionary technique is used in this research in order to learn the teachers' opinions. The questionary includes questions related to personal information, their opinions on Handmade Dolls courses, the dolls sold by way of tourism and the people producing dolls working in tourism. The information received is analysed by SPSS programme and the techniques of frequency, percentage, and average are used in this research. As a result the following data is obtained: It has been found out that the goals and the content of the programme are not adequate to the required degree, yet, the time planned for the programme is sufficient and that the equipment necessary to realize the goals of the lesson is not sufficient. It has also been found out that handmade dolls are not valid in the market and. special kinds of dolls do not exist in the region where the teachers are on duty and students cannot produce dolls which reflect the tradition of their region and that the progress in handicraft sector is not reflected to the courses, so the dolls in the market and those produced in courses are not alike technically. Regular techniques are still used rather than using practical methods based on technical progress. mIt has been understood as a result that the dolls produced in lessons reflect traditional style and also the variety of the dolls belonging to different regions of Turkey. It has been stated that students are completely given the chance to be creative in techniques and materials and some materials are submitted in order to increase the motivation but students' interest to these courses is inadequate and that these courses do not encourage the students to have a collection of these handmade dolls. Insufficient written information related to the subject exist for the use of teachers, however, they can never enjoy information written in a foreign language. The dolls produced in lessons are exhibited however, students do not get any get financial income. As there is not a cooperation between the higher education institutions and high schools and workshops do not exist, students do not have the chance to probate. It has been found out that the dolls in tourism sector are examined in the lessons but these two kinds of dolls are hardly alike and that the dolls in tourism sector are insufficient in terms of technique and materials and the training of those people in this sector is inadequate. There is not an institution which support the production of handmade dolls at schools. Thus, it can be said as a conclusion that not an institution has a role in the development of the related courses. IV
