Abstract

ÖZETGENET?K DETERM?N?ZM, ?NSAN DAVRANISLARI VE EĞ?T?MÖztürk, EmetYüksek Lisans, Ortaöğretim Fen ve Matematik Alanları Eğitimi Anabilim DalıTez Danısmanı: Prof. Dr. Turan GÜVENMart ? 2007Bu arastırma, ?moleküler genetik?, ?rekombinant-DNA teknolojisi? ve?genetik mühendisliği biyoteknolojisi? gibi yeni bilim dallarının gelismesi ile ortayaçıkan ?genetik determinizm? veya ?nörogenetik determinizm? eğilimlerinin Batı'nınbilim literatürüne giren çalısmalarını göstermek ve bunları eğitim açısındandeğerlendirmek için yapılmıstır. ?nsan davranıslarının genlerle kontrol edildiğini,insan iradesinin çok sınırlı olduğunu bu yüzden sorun olusturan davranıslarındanötürü sorumlu tutulamayacağını ve davranısların ancak genlerin değistirilmesiyledüzenlenebileceğini savunan biyolojik determinizm derinlemesine ele alınmıstır.Genetik determinizmi savunanların eğitime bakıs açıları ve eğitimin gerekliliğineinanıp inanmadıkları yansıtılmıstır.

ABSTRACTThis search has completed in order to understand, molecular genetics,recombinant DNA technology and genetic engineering biotechnology. In those days,new scientific developments are coming into being such as genetic determinism andneurogenetic determinism. As we know European scientific studies play importantrole in new developments. This study combines European studies and their effect oneducation. According to studies, human behaviours are controlled by genes. Humancommands are limited for this reason they can not be responsible for their complexbehaviours and only human behaviours are changed by changing their genes sobiological determinism is examined in order to show the importance of genes. Thepeople who accepts the idea of genetic determinism give importance to educationand their point of view about education is very important and this study reflects theirideas about what they think about education and also the necessity of education.
