Renk: Bir değerlendirme ölçütü olarak iç mekan tasarımındaki önemi ve bir ders içeriği önerisi

Abstract

İçmimarlık, insanların gereksinimleri doğrultusunda işlevsel ve estetik, mekan detayları ile ilgili fiziksel ve psikolojik yönden nitelikli mekan tasarımları yapan meslek alanıdır. İç mekan tasarımının gerçekleştirilebilmesi için gerekli bazı tasarım ögeleri bulunmaktadır ve bunlardan birisi de renktir. Bu çalışma kapsamında yapılan araştırmalar üzerine renk bilgisi, renk ve mekan algısı, rengin psikolojik etkileri ve iç mekanda rengin yeri ve önemi hakkında kuramsal bir alt yapı oluşturulmaktadır. Bir değerlendirme ölçütü olarak renk, mekan ve insan etkileşiminde önemli bir yere sahip olmasına rağmen Türkiye'deki içmimarlık eğitim programlarında gerekli öneme sahip değildir. Bu çalışma kapsamında öğrencilerin renk bilgisini değerlendirmek ve ders içeriği oluşturmak amaçlı bir çalıştay yapılmıştır. Çalıştay uygulamaları uzmanlar tarafından değerlendirilip istatiksel analizi yapıldığında, iç mekanda renk bilgisi konusunda öğrencilerin eksiklikleri ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu eksikliklere göre önerilen dersin içerikleri oluşturulmaktadır. İçmimarlık eğitimindeki eksikliklerin giderilmesi nitelikli bir eğitim ve mesleki açıdan gelişim sağlayacaktır. Yapılan tüm araştırma ve uygulamalar sonucunda oluşturulan bu dersin, eğitim programlarında zorunlu ders kapsamına alınmasının eğitime destek olması hedeflenmektedir.

Interior Design/Architecture is a profession that executes functional and aesthetic designs according to the requirements of people, and designs qualified space with physical and psychological aspects regarding space details. There are some essential design elements for interior design and one of them is color. According to the researches in the context of this study, a theoretic substructure is constituted about color, color and space perception, psychological influences of color and the place and importance of color in interiors. Although color has an important place in space and human interaction, it does not have required importance in interior design/architecture education programs in Turkey. In the context of this study, a workshop is conducted in order to evaluate the students' color knowledge and create a course content. When workshop practices are evaluated by experts and done statistical analysis, deficiencies of students' knowledge occur about color in interior. According to these deficiencies a course content is created. Correcting the deficiencies in interior design/architecture education will provide a qualified education and development of profession. With this course, which is created as a result of all the research and practices, is aimed to support education as a required course in education programs.
