dc.description.abstractThe adsorption efficiency of chromium by nanoscale iron particles (Reactive Nanoscale Iron Particles and H-200 Zero Valent Iron) was studied and the operating conditions such as pH, contact time and adsorbent concentration that affect the rate of chromium removal were determined. It was found that the rate of chromium removal by adsorption and ultrasound followed pseudo-first order decay kinetics. The results showed that the use of ultrasound in presence of nanoparticles significantly enhanced chromium removal.
dc.description.abstractDemir nanopartikülleri tarafından kromun adsorpsiyon kapasitesi ve adsorban konsantrasyonu, pH ve temas süresi gibi operasyonel parametrelerin kromun arıtılması üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Yapılan deneylerde kromun 1. derece reaksiyon kinetiğini takip ettiği bulunmuştur. Deney sonuçları nanopartiküllerin sesüstü dalgalar ile birlikte kullanıldığında kromun giderme verimini arttırdığını göstermektedir.en_US
