Abstract

-II- CHARMON1UM İÇİN POTANSİYEL MODEL (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Emin ÖZTEKİN GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Eylül 1987 ÖZET Bu çalışmada, charm ve anti-charm quarklarının baş lı durumu olan charmoniumun enerji spektrumlarını bulma ya çalıştık. Kullandığımız potansiyel operatörü Suraz N. Gupta ve Stanley F. Radford 'un 19 82 'de yayınladıkları `Quarkonium spectra and quantum chromodynamıcs` adlı ma kalelerinden aldık. Sistemimizin potansiyel enerjisi sı nırlayıcı ve perturbative potansiyellerin toplamından meydana gelmiştir. Metod olarak Virial teoremini kullandık ve bazı po tansiyeller için Virial teoremini uygulayarak bulduğumuz spesifik sonuçlardan yararlandık. Sonuçta charmoniumun enerji spektrumlarını yaklaşık olarak hesapladık.
