Abstract

Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde turizm sektörünün özellikleri ve Türk Turizminin bu günkü durumu ile bu sektörü oluş turan konaklama tesisleri içinde oteller incelenmiştir. 2. bölümde, geniş imkanlar sunan şehir otellerinin gü nümüzdeki yeni eğilimleri, buna bağlı olarak planlama ve projelendirme kararları ele alınmıştır. INFLUENCE OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ON DESIGN OF THE DOWN - TOWN HOTELS (Master Thesis) NURGUN BIKLIC GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ABSTRACT In this thesis main theme is the interaction of mechanical equipment and down-town hotels and the mechanical equipment as a design criteria influencing the succes of down-town hotels as an important investment in terms of increase in turism and as a management supplying the users' demands. In the first part the characteristics of turism sector and in which the place of Turkish Turism and the down-town hotels which is playing a role in creating the sector are examined. Planning and design criterias which depend on the new tendencies of today's down-town hotels that ofter large posibilities to the customers and citizens are explaned in the second part. Finally the mechanical equipment which is one of the main design criteria and its influence on design of down-town hotels to provide the comfort elements in design period are held on. 1 1 1
