MIG-MAG KAYNA?INA KORUYUCU GAZ KARIŞIMININ KAYNAK METALİNİN MEKANİK ÖZELLİKLERİNE ETKİSİ Behcet GULENÇ (Doktora Tezi) GAZI ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ MAYIS-1995 ÖZ MIG-MAG kaynacında koruyucu gaz secimi giderek önem kazanmaktadır. Çeliklerin kaynağında Argon ve karbondiok sit 'in tek basına kullanılarak çok azalmıştır. Bu çalışmada Ar,C02, 95 Ar + 5 C02, 85 Ar + 15 Cû2, 70 Ar + 30 C02, 91 Ar +5 CO 2 + 4 02, 83 Ar + 13 C02 + 4 02 gaz veya karışımları ile SG2 teli kullanılarak kaynak metali elde edildi. Koruyucu gazlar ile ntifuziyet profilleri elde edildi. Kaynak metalinin akma, çekme yorulma ve çentik darbe dayanımları tespit edildi. Argona ilave edilen C02 ve 02 oranı arttıkça ntifuziyet in arttığı görülmektedir. THE EFFECT OF SHIELDING GAS MIXTURE ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF MIG-MAG WELDING WELD METAL Behçet GÜLENÇ (Ph.D Thesis) GAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE MAY- 1995 ABSTRACT Nowadays, the selection of shielding gas mixture for MIG-MAG welding is getting important. In this respect using Ar or CO2 for the welding of steels has been decreased. In this study, the weld metal was obtained using SG2 wire and with the gas or gas mixtures of Ar, ro2, % 95 Ar + 5 CO2, % 85 Ar + 15 C02, % 70 Ar + 30 CO2, % 91 Ar + 5 CO2 + 4 02, % 83 Ar + 13 C02 + 4 02. The penetration profile of welded metal was obtained according to the shielding gases. Yield strength, tensile strength, fatique and impact properties of weld metal were determined. It was found that, the addition of CO2 and O2 to Ar resulted in the decrease in penetration of weld metal. Mechanical test results show that the yield strength, tensile strength, fatique and impact properties of the weld metal obtained using % 91 Ar + 5 CO2 + 4 O2 and % 85 Ar + 15 CO2 gas mixture was found to be better than that obtained using Ar and CO2 gases.
