Ortaçağ`da Bingöl bölgesi

Abstract

Bingöl bölgesi genel olarak stratejik ve jeopolitik açıdan önemli güzergâhlara sahiptir. Bölge, hem birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış hem de bu medeniyetlerin mücadelelerine sahne olmuştur.Bingöl tarih boyunca Bizans kroniklerinde Asthianene, Ermeni kroniklerinde Hashteank, Ortaçağ kaynaklarında ise Cebel Cûr ve Çapakçur isimlerini almıştır. Ta-rihi çağlarda Bingöl bölgesi üzerinde hâkimiyet kuran medeniyetler ile ilgili pek bir bilgi olmamasına rağmen Ortaçağ döneminde burası çeşitli etnik kökeni ağırlamıştır. Bunun yanında bölge, jeopolitik konumu dolayısıyla da bir üs olarak kullanılmaktay-dı. Bingöl, kültür ve medeniyetiyle, yörenin ekonomik faaliyetleriyle, geçmişten gü-nümüze dinî yaşamıyla ve tarihî coğrafyasıyla da önemli bir yöredir.

The Bingöl region has important strategic and geopolitical routes in general. The region has hosted many civilizations and has witnessed the struggles of these ci-vilizations.Throughout history, Bingöl has been named Asthianene in Byzantine chronic-les, Hashteank in Armenian chronicles, Cebel Cûr and Çapakçur in Medieval sources. Although there is not much information about the civilizations that dominated the Bingöl region in the historical ages, it hosted various ethnic origins. The region was also used as a base due to its geopolitical location. Bingöl is also an important region with its culture and civilization, economic activities of the region, religious life from past to present and its historical geography.
