Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı didaktik oyunların öğrencilerin ders başarısı ve matematik dersine karşı tutumlarına etkisini tespit etmektir. Araştırma 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Van ilinin Tuşba ilçesinde bulunan Zeve Ortaokulun da yapılmıştır. Okulda bulunan 6. Sınıflarından 18'i didaktik oyunlar yöntemi ile 18'i ise geleneksek öğretim yöntemi olmak üzere 36 gönüllü öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma beş hafta sürmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak Vankúš ( 2005) tarafından geliştirilen `Matematik Bilgi Testi` ve `Tutum Anketi` kullanılmıştır. Testler uygun örneklem grupları seçildikten sonra ön test- son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Uygulamalar sınıf ortamında araştırmacı tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir.Bulgular `SPSS 20.0` programında analizleri yapılmış anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 düzeyinde değerlendirilmiş ve bulgular araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda didaktik oyunların uygulandığı grubun geleneksel öğretim yöntemlerinin uygulandığı gruba göre matematik ders başarısı ve matematik dersine karşı tutumlarına daha olumlu etkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. The aim of this thesis is to prove the effect of the didactic games on the attitude towards mathematics and pupils' achievement. The research has been made in Zeve Secondary School in Tuşba, Van between 2016 and 2017. It has been carried out with thirty-six volunteer students who are at sixth grade. The eighteen students are experimental groups and the others are control groups. The study lasted five weeks. Experimental groups have learnt the lesson, mathematics through the method of didactic games whereas the control groups have studied via traditional teaching method.Mathematics Information Test and Attitude Survey developed by Vankúš have been used as a data collection tool. Tests were applied as pretest-posttest after the sample groups had been chosen. The applications were practised in the classroom environment by the researcher. The results have been analyzed according to the SPSS 20.0 programme and the significance level has been evaluated on 0.05 level. The results have been presented in the form of tables that are appropriate for the target of the research.The research results have indicated that the group didactic applications applied has become more successful in the lesson and improved better attitudes towards mathematics than the other group which traditional methods applied.The aim of this thesis is to prove the effect of the didactic games on the attitude towards mathematics and pupils' achievement.
