Tahir Nejat Gencan`ın `Türkçe öğreniyorum` adlı kitabının yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Ders kitapları, öğretim sürecinde en fazla kullanılan materyallerindendir. Yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi alanında birçok kitap yazılmıştır. Bu kitaplarda, kitapların yazıldığı döneme göre birçok farklılık bulunmaktadır. Bu farklılığın temel sebebi zaman içerisinde öğretim ihtiyaçlarının değişmesidir. Bu çalışmada Tahir Nejat Gencan'ın, 1960'lı yıllarda ders kitabı olarak kullanılan Türkçe Öğreniyorum adlı eserinin yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi alanındaki yeri incelenmiştir. Çalışma, betimsel niteliktedir ve çalışmada doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, dokuz alt problem doğrultusunda şekillenmiştir. Buna göre 13 metin türü, 26 tema, 12 soru tipi, 14 görsel öge tespit edilmiştir. Temel becerilerden dinleme becerisine yer verilmediği görülmüştür. Kitapta ölçme değerlendirme için ayrıca bir bölüm verilmemiştir. Kitabın hedef kitlesi yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerdir.

Class boks have been one of the most used materials throughout the education history. A lot of boks have been written for foreigners to help teach them Turkish. In these books- depending on the period they were written- content have shown many differences. The main reason for these differences is the changes of needs in teaching. In this study, the book called `Türkçe Öğreniyorum` (I'm Learning Turkish) by Tahir Nejat Gencan, which was used as a course book in 1960`s, has been examined in terms of teaching Turkish to foreigners. This is a descriptive study and document review methods has been used. The study was carried out in accordance with nine predetermined sub-problems. According to this, 13 text types, 26 themes, 12 question types and 14 visual elements were determined. It was seen that basic skills were not included in listening skills. There is no chapter in the book for evaluation. The target audience of the book is foreign students.
