Abstract
Gürcistan Cumhuriyeti Sovyetler sisteminden çıkan küçük bir devlet olduğu için, küresel siyasal prensiplerine uymak zorunda kalmaktadır ve bu küresel sistemde, ülkenin belirlemiş olduğu siyasi yol çerçevesinde uluslararası bir büyük güce yanaşmak durumundadır. Çalışmamızda Gürcistan'ın dış politikasının neden Batılı büyük güçlere yanaşmakta olduğunu ve bu kapsamda iç faktörlere yoğunlaşarak, ülkenin dış siyasetinde karar verici siyasi elitin fikirsel yaklaşımlarının ülke dış politikasına katkılarının ne olduğunu açıklamaya çalışacağız. Çalışmamız Gül Devriminin hangi dinamiklere dayalı olarak geliştiğini ortaya koymanın yanında Gül Devrimi öncesi ve sonrasındaki dış politik farklılaşmayı, dış ticaret, ikili siyasi antlaşmalar ve ilişkileri karşılaştırarak açıklamaya çalışmaktadır. Ele alacağımız zaman dilimi, 2003 yılında Gürcistan Gül Devrimi ile başlayan ve 2012 yılında parlamento seçimleri ile biten dönemi kapsamaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Gürcistan, Dış Siyaset, Gül Devrimi, Renkli Devrimler,Küçük Devlet. Because of the fact, that Georgia is a post-Soviet small country, she has to obey the global political principles and in this global system, she has to bandwagon the great powers playing an important role in the international politics. In this thesis, we will try to explain why Georgia prefers to bandwagon Western powers and in this matter, by focusing on the internal factors, regarding the international politics of the country, we will try to explain what are the outcomes of the ideas of political elites in the means of foreign policy. In addition to the dynamics of the Rose Revolution, we will try to compare the foreing policy, foreign trade, bilateral political agreements and relations of Georgia before and after the Rose Revolution. The period which we will deal with in this thesis, starts from 2003 the Rose Revolution and ends with the 2012 parlamentary elections of Georgia .Keywords: Georgia, Foreign Policy, Rose Revolution, Color Revolutions, Small State.
