Abstract

Uçma ve bu edimi gerçekleştiren kanatlar, çağlar boyu inanç dünyasında irdelenmişve soyutlamalar inceleme konusu olmuştur.Ayrıca uçma edimi, insan psikolojisi ve Leonardo'nun bu konudaki araştırmalarıörneklenerek araştırılmış ve kanat sembolünün ikilemleri, sanatta biçim, algıalımlamasorunları açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Son olarak da, günümüz sanatındadüşüncenin görselleşmesi yine kısa bir tarihsel geçiş ve örneklerle verilmekistenmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler; biçim, algı psikolojisi, uçma ve kanat sanatçıların özellikle ilgiduydukları bir tema olmuştur. Araştırmanın özünde kanat tematik olarak ele alınmış,etimolojik ve aerodinamik yönleri incelenmiştir. Konu, tarihsel bir geçiş yapılarakanlatılmaya çalışılmış, kanadın, inanç dünyasındaki yeri, paganizmde ve tek tanrılıdinlerdeki rolü, önemle vurgulanmıştır. Sanat alanında kanadın simgesel varlığınıngörselleştirilmesi incelenmiş ve bu alanda Çağdaş sanatta üç boyutlu yapıtlar üretenBrancusi ve uzun araştırmalara konu olan, kuş ve kanat soyutlamaları irdelenmiş, sonolarak da günümüz sanatında düşüncenin görselleşmesi yine örneklerle anlatımasunulmak istenmiştir.

THE PERCEPTION OF FLYING IN THREE-DIMENSIONSABSTRACTAvian forms and the Wings accomplishing the act of flying have been elaboratedthoroughly for centuries in religious beliefs which have led to various analysis forabstractions.In addition, the act of flying, human psychology and Leonardo?s research on thesubject have been illustratively studied. Attempts have been made to explain thedilemma of the symbol of wings, the artistic form and the perceptual problems.Finally, the visualization of the thought is being depicted in today?s art through ashort historical transition and examples.Keywords; form, perceptual psychology, flying, wings have always been a subjectthat artists have highly been interested in. In this research, the wing has beenanalyzed thematically and its etymologic and aerodynamic aspects have beenstudied. The subject has been explained through the history; and the role of the wingin religious belief and in paganism has been emphasized. The visualization of thesymbolic existence of the wings has been explored. In this respect, contemporaryartist Brancusi?s three-dimensional works and his bird and wing abstractions havebeen researched in great detail. Finally, the visualization of the thought in today?s arthas been explained through examples.
