Abstract

ÖZET Bu tezde, analog ölçü aletlerinin hızını ve manüel ölçü sistemlerinin doğruluğunu birleştiren otomatik olarak gürültü sayısını ölçen bir cihaz tanıtılmıştır. Bu amaçla, ölçme yöntemini kontrol eden ve sonuçları gerekli düzeltmeler yaptıktan sonra hesap eden mikroişlemci sistemi tasarımı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eğer beyaz gürültü kaynağının çıkış karakteristiği analitik veya grafik olarak biliniyorsa, ses frekanslarından mikrodalga frekanslarına kadar olan bölgede sadece gürültü kaynağını değiştirmekle bu ölçme yöntemini uygulamak mümkün olmaktadır.

iv ABSTRACT In this thesis, an automatic noise figure meter is presented that combines both the speed of analog meters and the accuracy of manual measurement systems. For this purpose, a microprocessor system is developed to control the measurement algorithm and to calculate the results. This will be applicable for all the noise measurement systems from the audio frequencies to the microwaves, if the output characteristics of the white noise sources are known analytically or graphically.
