dc.description.abstractThe sensor optimization problem for linearstochastic systems is solved to. minimize the cost due tofilter gain matrix, measurement matrix and system noise.The solutions include both the optimum measurement matrixand system noise covariance matrix as well as the filtergain matrix. The problem is solved in bothcontinuous-time and discrete-time and also steady-statesolutions are presented.en_US
