The Effects of microsilica on high strength concrete

Abstract

ÖZET Son yıllarda yüksek mukavemetli beton da, betonun özelliklerini arttıran yeni tip katkı maddeleri kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada çimento ile miferosilifeanın bir arada uygulamaları araştırılmıştır. Mikrosili&anm özellikleri, çimento ile reaksiyonu ve beton özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Deneysel çalışma ile 0,5,10% miö.rosili&a ilaveli betonun taze ve sertleşmiş haldeki bazı özellikleri analiz edilmiştir.

iv ABSTRACT In recent years, new types of materials which dramatically improve concrete properties are being used for high strength concrete. In vhis work, potential application of microsilica including its us; e in com.bination with portlant cement is investigated. Properties of microsilica, how it works and various properties of concrete that chould foe improved by adding microsilica are examined. In addition to that experimental study results of an investigation on the performance of concrete incorparating 0,5,10 % microsilica were evaluated.
