dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Bu çalışmada kaymalı temel izolasyonu yapılmış binaların harmonik yer hareketlerine karşı davranışları, Mosthagel, Hejazi ve Tanbakuchi tarafından önerilen yöntemi kullanarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı kaymalı sistemlerin zemin hareketlerinde binanın maruz kaldığı toplam ivmenin azaltılmasındaki etkisini göstermektir. Davranış hesapları altı değişik şiddetteki deprem yükleri için yapılmış ve sonuçlar sabit temelli sistemlerin davranışlarıyla karşılaştırılmıştır. | |
dc.description.abstract | IV ABSTRACT In this study, the responses of buildings with sliding joint base isolator to harmonic ground motion are investigated by using the theoretical approach of Mosthagel, Hejazi and Tanbakuchi. The object of this work is to reveal the effectiveness of sliding systems in reducing the total acceleration of the buildings when subjected to ground motions. The response calculations are carried out by utilizing a computer program for six different intensities of base excitations. After obtaining the results, a comparison is made with the results of fixed base systems. | en_US |
