Statistical quality control of ready mixed concrete

Abstract

HAZIR BETONDA İSTATİKSEL KALİTE KONTROLÜ Hazır beton kullanımı inşaat sektöründeki en büyük gelişme olarak nitelenmektedir. Beton diğer inşaat malzemeleriyle karşılaştırıldığında, en çok tutulan inşaat malzemesi özelliğini halen korumaktadır. Tüm dünyada olduğu gibi, Türkiye' de de hazır beton endüstrisi hızla gelişmektedir. Bu gelişme her nekadar umut verici olsa da, asıl problem üretilen betonun kalite kontrolünün tam ve eksiksiz yapılıyor olmasıdır. Türkiye' de gelişmekte olan bu sektör hakkında bilgi edinmek amacıyla bir hazır beton firması incelenmiştir. Yabancı bir ortaklık olan bu firmadan sekiz ay süresince toplanan veriler incelenmiştir. Bu bilgiler hem istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiş hem de 28 günlük mukavemetle diğer özellikler arasında çeşitli bağıntılar aranmıştır. Bu değerlendirmeler firmada üretilen betona kalite kontrol yöntemlerinin ne seviyede uygulandığı hakkında fikir vermektedir. Tüm bunların yanında, iyi betonun nasıl olması gerektiği ve iyi betonda ne gibi özellikler arandığına da değinilmiştir. Ayrıca, betonun avantajları, özellikleri, kullanım alanları, Dünyadaki ve Türkiye' deki gelişimi ve kalite kontrolü de yer verilen konulardan birkaçıdır.

IV STATISTICAL QUALITY CONTROL OF READY MIXED CONCRETE The production of ready mixed concrete is the most important improvement in construction industry. Being the main material for construction, concrete keeps its importance upon any other material. In Turkey, the production of ready mixed concrete has been initiated in the recent 20 years and developes very rapidly. The development is very promising but the control of the quality of concrete produced and delivered still remains as the main problem. In order to have an idea of the ready mixed concrete industry in Turkey, the production of a company which has been established by the partnership of a foreign concrete company is observed. Data of the concrete produced as B 225, collected for a period of eight months, has been evaluated statistically and also some correlations between 28 days strength and other properties are searched. The evaluation of the data gives a brief idea about the level of quality control applied to the concrete that is produced. Also, the thesis introduces the properties of good quality concrete. In other words, it points out what is expected from a good quality concrete. The advantages, properties, usage, growth in the World and in Turkey and quality control are some of the other subjects that are also mentioned.
