An Introduction on measurable cardinals

Abstract

KISA ÖZET Bu çalışmada ölçülebilir sayal sayılar tanıtılmaktadır. Gerçel, doğrunun bütün altkümelerini ölçülebilir yapan bir ölçüm henüz bulunamamıştır. Eğer bütün altkü- meleri ölçülebilir olan bir küme varsa, bu küme çok büyük bir küme olmalıdır. Hatta erişilmez nicelikte olması gerektiği ve 2Ho üzerinde bir ölçüm varsa, genelleşmiş sürey varsayımının doğru olamayacağı Ulam teoremi ile bu çalışma içinde gösterilmektedir. Ölçülebilir sayal sayılar ve erişilmez sayal sayıların küme teorisindeki önemi ve ZF(C)'nin göreceli tutarlılığını gösteren iki doğal model verilmiştir.

IV ABSTRACT The present paper reviews the measurable cardinals. For the real line, no measure has been found which makes every subset of the reals measurable. In this paper, it is seen that if such a measurable set exists, it is supposed to be greater than the least inaccessible cardinal and that if there exists a measure on 2N°, then GCH fails. Besides these, some natural models of ZF(C) are represented which strengthen the consistency of ZF(C).
