61 6. ÖZET Alifatik Alkol Bileşiklerinden 1-Oktakosanol'ün Euphorbia macroclada Boiss Bitkisinden Teşhis Ve izolasyonu Oktakosanol 28 karbonlu bir alifatik alkoldür. Bu bileşik, serbest veya bağlı halde, buğday tohumu ve yağı dışında, Euphorbia türleri ve diğer bitkilerde de yaygın şekilde bulunmaktadır. Bu tez projesinde, oktakosanolün biyolojik aktivitesi üzerinde durulmuş, oktakosanol farmasötik formulasyonlan ve alifatik alkol bileşikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, Euphorbia türleri ve diğer bitkilerde yapılan oktakosanol izolasyon yöntemleri sunulmuştur. Euphorbia macroclada Boiss. bitkisinde oktakosanol izolasyonu, KK ve ITK gibi teknikler kullanılarak yapılmış, İR, GK ve KS spektral yöntemleri ile oktakosanol yapısı aydınlatılmıştır. 62 7. SUMMARY The Isolation and Determination of Aliphatic Alcohol Compound. 1- Octacosanol From Euphorbia macroclada Boiss. Octacosanol, an aliphatic alcohol 28 carbon, is present both in free and esterified forms in wheat germ and wheat germ oil. It also occurs in some other plants like Euphorbia species. In this thesis project, the previous studies about the isolation of octacosanol from Euphorbia species and the other plants, were reviewed We also reported the biological effects, drug and nutritional formulations of octacosanol within the study. Octacosanol was isolated from E. macroclada Boiss. by using the methods CC, TLC and identified on the basis of IR, GC and MS spectral data.
