Tavşanlarda geliştirilen deneysel üveit modelinde HBO2 tedavisinin etkinliğinin araştırılması

Abstract

VI. ÖZET Amaç, son yıllarda oftalmolojide kullanılmaya başlanmış olan HB02 tedavisinin, deneysel üveit modelinde etkinliğini araştırmaktır. Çalışma, GATA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi Göz Kliniği ile Deniz ve Sualtı Hekimliği Kliniğinde Kasım 1999-Ağustos 2000 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. 48 tavşanın sağ gözlerine Salmonella Typhimurium Lipopolissakkaridi (LPS) ( Sigma L 6511) uygulanarak akut anterior üveit oluşturuldu. Sol gözler kontrol olarak kullanıldı. Hayvanlar rastgele beş gruba ayrıldı. Grup A (kontrol)'ya tedavi verilmedi. Grup B'ye metilprednizolon topikal, Grup C'ye metilprednizolon anterior subtenon,Grup D'ye HB02 tedavisi Grup E'ye HB02+metilprednizolon subtenon uygulandı. Ön üveitin klinik skorlaması yapıldı ve gruplar birbiri ile karşılaştırıldı. 1. günde hücre ve protein yoğunluğu açısından, kontrol grubuna göre D ve E gruplarında anlamlı fark olduğu görüldü(p<0. 05). 1. günde klinik skorlama açısından D ve E gruplarında anlamlı iyileşme olduğu görüldü(p<0.05).3.günde hücre ve protein açısından,tedavi uygulanan gruplarda(B,C,D,E) kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı iyileşme izlendi(p<0. 05). Klinik skorlama açısından kontrol grubuna göre D, E gruplarında anlamlı iyileşme izlenirken kendi içlerinde anlamsız bulundular(p>0.05).5.günde D ve E grubu hücre.protein ve klinik skorlama açısından diğer gruplara göre anlamlı olarak iyi bulundu(p<0.05). Histopatolojik olarak; 5. günde bütün gruplarda inflamasyon şiddetinde azalma izlenmiş, ancak gruplar arasında fark görülmemiştir. Retina ve koroid dokusunun bütün gruplarda intakt olduğu gözlendi. Sonuç olarak ;yüksek doz ve uzun süre steroid kullanımı gereken üveit tedavisinde HBCVnun tedaviye yardımcı bir yöntem olabileceğini ve steroid ise birlikte kullanıldığında infiamasyonür..,...`« seyrini baskiîayacağırsi düşünmekteyiz. %J %J

VII. İNGİLİZCE ÖZET The purpose is to investigate the effect of HBO2 treatment which has been used within ophthalmology in recent years on the experimental uveitis model. The study took place at Gülhane Military Medical Academy Haydarpasha Treaning Hospital Department of Ophthalmology and Clinic of Sea and Underwater medicine between november 1999 - August 2000. By applying Salmonella Typhimurium Lipopolissakkarit (LPS)(Sigma L 6511) on the right eyes of 48 rabbits an acute anterior uveitis has been formed.The left eyes were used as controls.The rabbits were ramdomly divided into five groups. Group A (control) was not given treatment. Group B was applied on metilprednisolon topical, Group C was applied on methilprednisolon anterior subtenon.Group D was applied on HBO2 treatment.Group E was applied on HB02 + methilprednisolon anterior subtenon. Clinic scoring of the anterior üveit was made the groups were compared to each other. On the first day,D and E groups compared to the control groups. Meaningful difference has been seen with D and E groups based on protein and cell density(p<0.05).On the first day D and E groups seemed to show significantly improvement based on clinic scoring(p<0.05).On the third day the groups which were being applied treatments, C.D.E) showed considerable improvement on cell and protein diversity when compared to the control groups. Even though groups D and E were showing considerable improve when compared to the control group.They still seemed meaningless within themselves(p>0.05).On the fifth day groups D and E showed consider improve based on cell.protein and clinic scoring.when compared to the other groups implying more meaning than usual(p<0.05). Histopatologically.on the fifth day.all groups showed a decrease in inflammation intensity.there was no difference among the groups. It was observed that retina and choroid tissues were intact in all groups. As a result, we think that in üveit treatment.which requires the usage of steroid for a long time and high doses, HB02 can be a assistant treatment to the conventional management and when used with steroids, it can bring down inflammation clinic /-J/J
