Abstract

Akkoç, Fatih, Töre ve Namus Cinayetlerinin Sebep-Sonuç İlişkisinin Değerlendirilmesi, Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Danışman: Yrd. Doç. Dr. Önder AytaçTöre ve Namus cinayetleri, toplumda kendilerine biçilmiş rollerin, ahlaki normların dışına çıktığı varsayılan, kız çocuklarına ve kadınlara yöneltilmiş olan bir şiddet türüdür. Töre cinayetleri insan Hakları Evrensel Bildirgesi, Avrupa insan Hakları Sözleşmesi, Kadınlara Karşı Her Türlü Ayrımcılığın Önlenmesi Sözleşmesi, Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesi hükümlerine de aykırı bir uygulamadır.Türkiye de, töre cinayetlerinin yaygın biçimde işlendiği ülkeler arasında yer almaktadır. Bu durum, ülkemizin uluslararası platformlarda eleştirilmesine sebep olmakta, gelişme düzeyi kendisinin çok altındaki ülkelerle aynı düzeyde görülmesine ve töre cinayetlerini ortadan kaldırmak için önlem almaya davet edilmesine yol açmaktadır.Töre ve namus cinayetlerinin önlenmesi, hem kadınlarımızın insan haklarının güvence altına alınması, hem de ülkemizin çağdaş bir görünüm vermesi bakımından gereklidir. Bu amaçla öncelikle sorunu yaratan nedenler, literatür taraması yapılarak ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler değerlendirilerek, töre cinayetlerinin önlenmesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Töre cinayetlerinin yasalar yaparak değil, bölge insanının ekonomik durumunun iyileştirilmesi ve eğitim düzeyinin yükseltilerek çözülebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Töre, Namus, Şeref, Töre ve Namus cinayetleri

Prof. Önder AytaçThe custom and honour killings is an act of violence to the girls and women that they supposed to go out their own acts and moral norms in their social groups. The custom and honour killings is also a contrary application to Universal Declarations of Human Rights, Glossary of The Europan Convention On Human Rights, Convention On The Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and The Convention of Child Rights.Turkey also took place in the countries that the killings happen widely. That situation causes to criticize Turkey at the international platforms and to be seen the same level with lower level developed countries and it is putting on the spot to prevent and bring away the killings reasons.Preventing of the custom and honour killings is important to put on women rights under guarantee and also to make a modern wiev to our country. For this purpose, firstly the reason of the problem had signposted by searching literatures thoroughly. The resulting datas having been analysed, some suggestions are presented to prevent the custom and honour killings. As a result,it was inferred that the solution of custom and honour killing is not to make law, it is to improve the economic situations and level of the education of the region?s people.Key Words: Custom, honour, glory and the custom and honour killings.
