Görele ilçe merkezinin coğrafyası

Abstract

Coğrafya, insan ve doğal ortam arasındaki karşılıklı etkileşimler sonucu ortaya çıkan olay ve olguları nedensellik, dağılış ve ilişki kurma ilkeleri kapsamında araştırıp inceleyen ve sonuçlarını analiz eden bilimler topluluğu içerisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu bağlamda coğrafyanın temelini oluşturan insan ve mekân (çevre) olduğundan dolayı etüt çalışmaları önem taşımaktadır. Nitekim bir yörenin tanıtılması doğal, beşeri ve ekonomik yapısını içine alan coğrafi özellikleri ile ortaya konulmaktadır. Bu çalışmadaki amaç, çalışma sahasının bilim mantığına uygun bir şekilde etüt edilip, mevcut doğal, beşeri ve ekonomik açıdan potansiyelini ortaya koymaktır. Aynı zamanda doğal ortamın fiziki, beşeri ve ekonomik coğrafya üzerindeki etkilerini belirleyip, yöreye ait tespit edilen sorunlara çözümler sunmaktır.`Görele İlçe Merkezinin Coğrafyası` konulu bu çalışmada nitel (kalitatif) araştırma yöntemlerinden olan gezi-gözlem ve görüşme yöntemleri (yarı yapılandırılmış ve yapılandırılmamış görüşme yöntemleri) ile nicel (kantitatif) araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarından, basılı kaynaklardan edinilen veriler değerlendirilerek çalışmaya aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda kullanılan araştırma yöntemleri karma yöntem deseni olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Bunlara ek olarak şehir merkezinin sürdürülebilir bir şekilde planlanması ve yönetimi için çeşitli öngörülerde bulunan veya bulunmaya imkân sunan SWOT (GZFT) analizi uygulanmıştır. Bu bağlamda araştırma sahasının doğal, beşeri ve ekonomik coğrafya özelliklerinin şehrin gelişimini ve insanların faaliyetlerini, yaşam şekillerini çeşitli yönlerden etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Dolayısıyla bu coğrafi çalışma yöneticiler tarafından doğru karar alma, planlama, yönetim ve yatırım alanlarını net bir şekilde belirleme, eksikliklerin giderilmesi, sosyal ve ekonomik açıdan sürdürülebilir şekilde gelişimine katkı sağlayacaktır.

Geography has an important place in the scientific community, which analyses their results and studies events and phenomena within the scope of the principles of causality, distribution and relationship building that occur as a result of mutual interactions between man and the natural environment. In this context, survey studies are important because it is man and space (the environment) that form the basis of geography. Indeed, the introduction of a region is revealed with its geographical features, which include its natural, human and economic structure. The aim of this study is to investigate the field of study in accordance with the logic of science and to reveal its potential from the current natural, human and economic point of view. At the same time, it is to determine the effects of the natural environment on physical, human and economic geography and to provide solutions to the problems identified by the region.In this study on the topic of `Görele County Seat`, the qualitative research methods, which is one of trip-observation and interview methods (semi-structured and unstructured interview methods) and the quantitative research method were used. The data obtained from public institutions and organizations and printed sources were tried to be transferred to the study. The research methods used in this context are called mixed method patterns. In addition, SWOT analysis was applied, which makes various predictions or provides an opportunity to make for sustainable planning and management of the city centre. In this sense, it has been concluded that the natural, human and economic geography characteristics of the research area affect the development of the city, the activities of people, and their way of life in various ways. Therefore, this geographical study will contribute to the correct decision-making by managers, clearly identifying the areas of planning, management and investment, eliminating deficiencies, and developing them in a socially and economically sustainable way.
