Türkiye'de milliyetçi ideolojinin söylem analizi yöntemiyle incelenmesi: 1997 sonrası MHP örneği

Abstract

MHP Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli, 1997 yılından itibaren kendine has siyasi üslubu ve çıkışlarıyla ülke siyasetinde çok önemli kararların alınmasında başrol oynamıştır. Bu özellikler kuşkusuz onu siyasi hayatımızın son yirmi yılının en önemli figürlerinden birisi haline getirmiştir. Türkiye'de ideolojik bir söylem olarakmilliyetçiliğin MHP özelinde ve Bahçeli'nin genel başkanlığı sürecinde konu edinildiği bu çalışmada, genel seçimlerle ilgili konuşmaları üzerinden milliyetçi ideolojik söylemin analiz edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma, Türkiye'de milliyetçi ideolojinin son yirmi yıllık serüvenine ışık tutması bakımından önem taşımaktadır.Çalışma kapsamında, Bahçeli'nin 1997 ile 2018 yılları arasında yapmış olduğu ve partinin kurumsal web sitesinde yer alan yaklaşık 1.700 konuşma metni evreninden, olasılıksız örneklem yöntemlerinden amaçlı örneklem yöntemiyle -çalışmanın amacına uygun- genel seçimlerle ilgili (1999, 2002, 2007, 2011, 2015 ve 2018) 9 metin (6 miting, 2 basın toplantısı, 1 istişare toplantısı) belirlenmiştir. Bu metinler bağlamında, Van Dijk'ın ideolojik söylem analizindeki stratejilerden 6'sı (öz kimlik açıklamaları, olumsuz sözcükler, abartma, negatif karşılaştırma ve genelleme, uyarı, norm ve değer ihlali) kullanılarak 1997'den sonra 'Türkiye'de Milliyetçi İdeolojik Söylem' analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Nitel yorumlayıcı bir araştırma yöntemi olan söylem çözümlemesi/analizi, konuşmacının söylemini çevresel koşullar içerisinde ele almakta, konuşma ve metinler üzerinden nasıl bir anlamın inşa edildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Siyasal iletişim açısından da çok önemli yere sahip olan söylem analizi, politikacıların söylemlerini inceleyerek hem onlar hem de temsil ettikleri siyasi görüş hakkında analizler ve saptamalar yapılabilmesine olanak sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada yapılan analizler sonucunda ise, Türkiye'de milliyetçi ideolojik söylemin son yirmi yılda önceki dönemlere göre statik yapıdan çıkıp daha değişken daha aksiyoner bir yapıya dönüştüğü tespit edilmiştir.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has played a leasing role in making very important decisions in the country's politics since 1997, with his unique political style and outlooks. These features have undoubtedly made him one of the most important figures of the last twenty years of our political life. In this study, in which nationalism as an ideological discourse in Turkey is the subject of the MHP and during the presidency of Bahçeli, it is aimed to analyze the nationalist ideological discourse through his speeches about the general elections. The study is important in terms of shedding light on the adventure of nationalist ideology in the last twenty years in Turkey. Within the scope of the study, from the population of approximately 1,700speech texts that Bahçeli made between 1997 and 2018 and published on the corporate website of the party, the purposeful sampling method, which is suitable for the purpose of the study, related to the general elections (1999, 2002, 2007, 2011, 2015). and 2018) 9 texts (6 rallies, 2 press conferences, 1 consultation meeting) were determined. In the context of these texts, by using 6 of the strategies in Van Dijk's ideological discourse analysis (self-identity explanations, negative words, exaggeration, negative comparison and generalization, warning, norm and value violation), after 1997 Nationalist Ideological Discourse in Turkey has been tried to be analyzed. Discourse analysis /analysis, which is a qualitative interpretative research method, handles the speaker's discourse within environmental conditions and reveals what kind of meaning isconstructed through speech and texts. Discourse analysis, which has a very important place in terms of political communication, enables analysis and determinations about both them and the political opinion they represent by examining the discourses of politicians. As a result of the analyzes made in this study, it has been determined that the nationalist ideological discourse in Turkey has come out of the static structure in the last twenty years compared to the previous periods and turned into a more variable and moreactionary structure
