Bu araştırma ''12 Haftalık Eğlenceli Atletizm Programının 10-14 YaşAralığında Olan Hafif Derecede Zihinsel Engelli Çocukların Motor GelişimleriÜzerinde Etkileri İle Ebeveynlerin Çok Boyutlu Destek Ve Stres AlgılarınaEtkisinin Araştırılması'' amacıyla yapılmıştır.Çalışmanın örneklem grubunu 10 kontrol,10 deney grubu olmak üzere20 hafif derecede zihinsel engelli öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Tesadüfi örneklemyöntemi ile öğrenciler iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Kontrol grubunun yaş ortalamaları10,90±2,28 yıl; deney grubunun yaş ortalamaları 11,80±1,47 yıldır. Deneygrubuna 12 hafta süreyle haftada 2 gün eğlenceli atletizm eğitim programıuygulanmış, kontrol grubuna bu sürede eğlenceli atletizm eğitimiuygulanmamıştır. Tüm katılımcıların motor becerilerini 'Brian Mackenzie 101Performance Evaluation Tests ve MEB Psikomotor Beceriler KabaDeğerlendirme Formu ön ve son testlerde ölçülmüştür. Ebeveynler için stresalgısını (ASÖ) Algılanan Stres Ölçeği ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal DestekÖlçeği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler sonucunda veriler normaldağılım göstermediği için parametrik olmayan istatistiksel yöntemlerdenWilcoxon İşaretli Sıra Test İstatistiği ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler kullanılmıştır.Çalışmanın anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Ayrıca analiz sonuçlarıincelendiğinde deney grubunun motor beceri testlerinden altıgen engel, yan yöndeğiştirme,505 çeviklik, zig-zag, çeviklik ''T'' drill, hızlı ayak, duvar squatduruşu, kalça-gövde statik esneklik, gövde-boyun statik esneklik, el pençekuvvet, sağlık topu, sıçrama testlerinde son test puanlarının lehine anlamlı birfark bulunmuştur (p<0.05) Deney grubunda denge sağ göz açık testlerinde, leylek duruşu sol göz açık performanslarında anlamlı gelişme tespit edilmiştir.Deney grubu denge açıkgöz sol ve kapalı göz sağ-sol testlerinin ve leylekduruşu sağ göz açık ve sağ-sol göz kapalı ön ve son test uygulamasındaanlamlı fark bulunamamıştır. Kontrol grubunda ise denge sağ-sol göz açık vesağ-sol göz kapalı performanslarında ve leylek duruşu sağ-sol göz açık ve sağsol göz kapalı performanslarında ön ve son test puanlarının lehine anlamlı birfark bulunmamıştır. Kontrol grubuna uygulanan Mackenzie 101 Performanstestlerinde kontrol grubunda ön test son test uygulamalarında anlamlı gelişme
This research was carried out with the aim of `Investigating the Effects ofthe 12-Week Fun Athletics Program on the Motor Developments of Childrenaged 10-14 years with Mild Intellectual Disability, and the Effects of Parents onMultidimensional Support and Stress Perceptions`.The sample group of the study consisted of 20 mildly mentally retardedstudents, 10 of which were in the control group and 10 in the experimentalgroup. The students were divided into two groups by the random samplingmethod. The mean age of the control group was 10.90±2.28 years; The meanage of the experimental group was 11.80±1.47 years. An entertaining athleticstraining program was applied to the experimental group 2 days a week for 12weeks, while entertaining athletics training was not applied to the control groupduring this period. The motor skills of all participants were measured in theBrian Mackenzie 101 Performance Evaluation Tests and the MoNEPsychomotor Skills Rough Evaluation Form in the pre- and post-tests.Perceived Stress Scale and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scalewere used for parents' perception of stress (PSO). Since the data did not shownormal distribution as a result of the statistical analyzes, non-parametricstatistical methods, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test Statistics and descriptivestatistics were used. The significance level of the study was taken as p<0.05. Inaddition, when the results of the analysis were examined, the motor skill tests ofthe experimental group were hexagonal obstacle, lateral deflection, 505 agility,zig-zag, agility `T` drill, fast foot, wall squat stance, hip-trunk static flexibility,trunk-neck static flexibility, A significant difference was found in favor of posttest scores in hand claw strength, medicine ball and jump tests (p<0.05). In theexperimental group, a significant improvement was detected in the balance righteye open tests and the stork posture left eye open performances. No significantdifference was found in the experimental group balance light-eye left and closedeye right-left tests and stork posture, right eye open and right-left eye closedpre- and post-test application. In the control group, there was no significantdifference in favor of pre- and post-test scores in balance right-left eye openivand right-left eye-closed performances and stork posture, right-left eye openand right-left eye-closed performances. In the Mackenzie 101 Performancetests applied to the control group, no significant improvement was detected inthe pre-test and post-test applications in the control group. There wasimprovement in gross and fine motor skills in the experimental group. However,no significant improvement was detected in gross and fine motor skills in thecontrol group. In the experimental group, an improvement was detected inperceived stress and multidimensional perceived social support in families.(p<0.05). There was a significant difference in perceived stress in families in thecontrol group (p<0.05). However, no significant difference was found in theperception of multidimensional perceived social support. Entertaining athleticsnot only increased the motor skills of mentally retarded children, but alsopositively affected the families' perceptions of stress and the development ofmultidimensional support perceptions. As a result, it was determined that the 12-week fun athletics trainingprogram had a positive effect on the motor skills of students with mild mentalretardation at primary education level, as well as a positive effect on thefamilies' perception of stress and multidimensional support. Keywords: Motor skills, perceived stress, intellectual disability, fun athleticism, multidimensional perceived support perception.en_US
