Sahneyi kurmak: Fragman

Abstract

Bu çalışma, fragman olarak adlandırılan nihai işlerin ortaya çıkışını ve bu sürecin filtrelerini ortaya koymak için hazırlanmıştır; çalışma, iç içe geçen kavramlar barındırdığından fraktal konseptine kısa bir bakış yapılarak başlamaktadır. Bunun amacı, düzensiz görünen ancak kendisine ait bir üretim mekaniği barındıran yaklaşımı daha algılanabilir kılmaktır.Fragmanı anlamak adına ilk olarak, bu konsept içinde tarif edilen karşılaşmanın ne olduğunu, hangi aşamasıyla ilgilenildiğini tespit etmek gerekmektedir. Çünkü üretim süreci, karşılaşmayla başlar. Ardından bu karşılaşmanın tetiklediği zihinsel reaksiyonu ve ilk yaklaşımı, yani karşılaşma üzerine yapılan ilk tespiti, haritalama olarak adlandırılan adımı, bunun insan algısını şekillendirişini kavramaya ihtiyaç vardır. Karşılaşmadan alınan veriler ile bir sahne kurulacaktır. Fragman, bir bütünün varlığına işaret eden bir parça yapıyı temsil eder. Bu nedenle karşılaşma ve sahneyi kurma adımlarında var olan bütünden eksiltme yöntemi kullanılarak parçalara (fragmanlara) ulaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu süreç boyunca, fragmanı ortaya koyan sanat tarihindeki örnekler araştırılacaktır. Ayrıca bu sistemin oluşturulma mekaniği ile fragmanların bir alt fragmanı olabileceği fikri açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu tez, bir bütünü kavramamıza yarayan fragmanları sahneleştiren sanatsal bir yaklaşımın yanında, yaşamı algılamak üzerine bir mekanizmanın yani karşılaşmanın, işleyiş tespitinin çalışmasıdır.

This study is prepared to present how the final works came into existence and the filtering of this process. To decipher this process step by step is challenging because it involves some concepts that are intertwined with one another. The study starts with an introduction to fractals. The purpose of this is to make the approach that seems irregular, yet has a production mechanism of its own, more perceivable. In order to come to a better understanding about fragment, it is necessary from the first moment to determine the encounter, which is described in a particular concept and which part of this encounter is being considered. Because the process of production begins with the encounter. Afterward, the cognitive reaction that is triggered by the encounter and the initial approach towards it, meaning the initial determination in first glance, the initial step that is mapping and how these elements shape the perception of a person need to be considered. A stage is set with the data taken from the encounter. And it is decided what the stage will and will not include. The fragment represents a piece of structure that indicates the presence of a whole. That is why, the reduction approach that exists in the steps of the encounter and setting the scene will naturally continue when it comes to fragmentation. Consequently, the study aims to express the nature of the fragment which goes through these processes, the mechanic of how to form a fragment with the help of the examples that are listed and how each fragment and the sub-fragments of each fragment can be infinite. This is a study of a mechanism that is running in order to perceive life and a study to determine the operation of each encounter along with an artistic approach.
